Honestly I have lost all hope for Lulu and Leizi to take up a happy dramas. They don't take dramas without trauma and crying. Allergic to happiness ig.
I watched the trailer, and it seems that they have rewritten the script. Like similarity with original MoLi (novel) is just the basics, arranged marriage, 2 sisters marrying 2 brothers, elder one marrying a crippled prince, but someone who really is a clever mastermind. Except for this, I did not find any similarity for better or for worse. The trailer is interesting. 400 chapters into 40 episodes is impossible, so maybe its better this way. Way too excited to see Lulu and Leizi's chemistry❤️. Hopefully Mo Xiu Yao will recover within the first 20 episodes please🥹. 9th June, Let's go!!!🥳
They won't????? I thought they would be a couple. What about Kang Han Na?
I am not a fan of the leads as such. But Namjun and Seung Yeon are brilliant, and so even if both of them die, and the plot is interesting I would watch it for that. Namjun really took something this serious, after the laugh riot in MRN. Haha. Yeah the plot seems captivating, considering yes I do come from a country where we were colonized and oppressed for around 200 years, so yes this would hit hard. Thank you so much.
for novel readers is the ml the jealous type and I’m so curious what is the lore behind the scene in the trailer…
ML is very possessive in the novel, but it was never bad, as in to their relationship. He never stopped FL from doing anything as such, but yes he was very possessive, like scary to some extent, but that anger was never inflicted on her, so it was really nice. The drama has made some changes. In the novel, FL was not seeking any revenge. It was an arranged marriage between her and ML, and they became allies and friends in one-two days, eventually falling for each other. But the drama has added a revenge section, plus according to the teaser released it seems, the couple do not become allies in 1-2 days. Shows tend to dramatize, hence maybe to add a tension factor, the scene you are talking about must be when they suspect each other. Like even the synopsis states, she is initially suspected by her husband, so it seems this scene is from then (my guess). No such scene was there in the novel. The show dramatising it worked, everyone in my timeline is excited about the scene, including me haha.
This is so typical of the show with the family swapping and husbands and wives and all of that other stuff the…
Exactly. Its actually my first time watching The Truth, so I was not aware of the concept, but its really funny. Right, first Zhou Keyu was the uncle, but then it was hinted that he is Ding Chengxin's father, but ultimately its Yuning who is the father of Ding, rather than being elder step brother. Linghe and Yuwen kind of switched their families, them going from couple to siblings to couple, ohh my God what a chaos😂😂
Okay the first episode was so funny. It was a laugh riot. Linghe and Yuwen, I am glad I saw your reunion, but what in the world vertical drama was this 🤣🤣. Children swap, families exchanged, couple being siblings and then back to couple😂😂. Everyone looked so beautiful, really enjoyed it.
Yes Mundo logically is an uncle to Segye, generation wise. But he is hardly few years elder to him, that's why…
Actually its very normal in my culture as well. Like in the western context, cousins are cousins, they are not referred as brother or sister as such. But we do refer to our first cousins as brothers/sisters, sometimes they grow up together with us, they have no such difference with our biological siblings. Its a very common thing in Asia, especially one or two generations before, even sometimes now, that my nephew or niece is closer to my age. So though logically they are of different generation, growing up together, in easier terms we call them cousins, because it lets us avoid the long explanation why a person hardly few years elder is being referred as an uncle/aunt.
I am currently reading the novel (now in chapter 67), and they should not change anything in the drama please. They both are really perfect for the role, and I can visualize the entire drama while reading the novel. Especially their relationship, don't change anything about it, keep word to word everything! Also I am so happy Cheng Lei took something like this after The Lament of Autumn. I mean the reuters of that drama is really serious, and I am really scared about it along with the excitement. This is serious too, but I am loving the adventure, and especially that Cheng Lei is doing something modern, and is not a red flag here.
Just watched it😂 i love bts for these eps, the airplane, beach, hospital and of course wrist kiss. Didnt understand…
X people are translating for few scenes. Also did you saw he pushed the sleeve of her dress with his lips before kissing it. How hot is that. That's insane. We did not have that in the episode.
Guys watch the second behind scenes footage released for ep 5-6. It has the plane comedy scene (its still funny no matter how many times I see it), and the WRIST kiss and lip kiss scenes (yayy we got new angles).
Also the WRIST kiss is in the script, its not an ad-lib. All hail the writer😂. Brilliant.
I rewatched the episodes on Monday, and after that everyday I am repeating the wrist kiss and lip kiss scene for…
Trust me, not just you, it had everyone(who watched the drama) in shambles. People spoke about it so much that "wrist kiss" was even trending in South Korea in X. It wrecked us, no lip kiss between leads can make us feel that.
