I love Wang Yuwen so much. Her personality is so cool. I am not even taking into consideration that she is extremely brave to jump 3 times ( I would rather die).
But girl❤️ she motivated Xingxu before he jumped first (though he was already brave, but still), then Zhouye telling her she is the best. She did the swing with Yuning, cheering him. Tried to motivate Naiwen ge, but ultimately when he decided he couldn't at the last moment, she did it again so that Xingxu doesn't have to do it alone.

I will agree its problematic. Its just that appeals to a section of people who enjoy it. There are numerous drama with absolute green flags, and these actors played those roles numerous times. Fans are happy with them taking different kind of a drama. Plus influencing is a big word, there are murders, terrorism in dramas, but its shown as part of the story, not as promotions. This is 13+, while I do agree teenagers getting attracted and influenced by beautiful and famous actors is a possibility, we hope they are guided better. But as adult fans, we deserve all kinds of stories. Its all fun and game till its fiction.
Yeah even for me, the revenge is the most important thing here rather than the toxic love. Both of them need therapy at this point before having a relationship.

Yeah I get you, glamorous thing was true, it has a high budget, beautiful costumes, but toxic love part was true as well. Like the initial novel is very toxic I heard, actually unbearable, but they just took names from it. But with some Reuters, and the concept, trailers, it was very evident from the days of filming that it would portray toxic love. But yes, I get you not everyone follows Reuters.
Revenge is a huge plot here, but at the end its a love story which started out being sweet, now is in its "toxic phase". I am just here to enjoy diverse characters that these actors play.
But yes if you expect that because its a sensitive topic it will be dealt very well, I feel its a vain expectation, its an idol drama so they will do anything for "dramatic" feels instead of authentic story writing.

I just meant, most of us knew that the drama is going to be toxic, in the love angle. It was marketed like that, like leads having a very toxic relationship. These days, we see really healthy relationships, as we should. But it has also become monotonous, same faces doing same kind of roles. So its nice seeing something different. Because they are actors they should play different kinds of roles, even a serial killer or a villain for that matter, diverse roles. But this doesn't mean its promoting the thing. No one should really face this, but because its fiction, just a story, so its okay.

But as I said novel and drama aren't similar. I am here for the revenge and plot first, before any love or romance.
