Yeah, at first I was sceptical as well for obvious reasons but I thought I should give it a try since it's just 16 ep. And also the ML was annoying in the beginning with his childish bratty ways but when I saw him being smart in business and actually giving the FL a chance, I changed my perception. As I said before, the story is very simple but the good thing is you don't stress or wanna slap anyone whilst watching it.

Watched 8 ep. so far but only first 3 ep subbed.

This drama is actually really good...
The story is not new...Rich guy/Poor girl (well in this case single mother), Bratty Boss/secretary, Noona romance. All the cliches but the gag is it's executed perfectly. The story doesn't drag and there is literally noone to hate. It's so refreshing to have a drama free drama, (the irony) huh. I absolutely love the 2nd leads ? they are just as amazing. The best friend is what we all need. She is confident, confidant, dose of real and so caring. To be honest, I don't know how LXX would have coped without her. And the 2nd ML is just so much fun, the way he tease Cheng li and sometimes deliberately annoy him, huh.
What can I say ?, I absolutely love it and its a shame that people may pass it because of the overall story. You know what they say, we might go through the same experiment but the outcome will be different....that's this drama.

Lyric is one of the most talented yet underrated Chinese actress I have ever seen. I first saw her in Surgeons and OMG she completely blew my mind. Her acting is top notch like a veteran. And I also like that she chooses great diverse roles and most of the time act with veteran actors. And that's an Actress I will respect, one who relies on her skills and continues to learn the craft unlike a lot of pretty young actresses of nowadays.

16 ep...Now this is my kind of drama.

I know, it's just the pace is slow....I know I should be grateful since someone cares enough to sub it, it's just that I'm a little impatient and the story is so good.
Anyway I will wait.

Wow this drama managed to exceed all my expectations. Going in I thought it will be 24 ep. of arranged marriage shenanigans plus some fluff But oh boy, was I wrong.
If you are looking for a drama-free (hehe the irony), stress-free, pretty much non-significant 2nd leads and just a pure love story, then this one is definitely the one. It's straight up in the alley of Boss & Me, Love O2O, PYHOMS etc...
The acting is great; well the FL always has the same style of acting but its not bad at all and I absolutely love her here. The ML is very cute and the chemistry is beautiful. The story doesn't drag and I think being that it's 24 ep. helps a lot. I just fell in love with the gorgeous cinematography, wow. There are also other couples to love and EVERYTHING JUST SEEMS SO BEAUTIFUL ?
Now, amazing subbers, pretty please don't sleep on this diamond.

Woooow my girl Bom (Friend Zone) is the FL here...I absolutely love this girl's acting. What an irony that she is here alongside Krist whilst she was with Singto in Friend Zone...Our Sotus Couple.
She is one Lucky Girl!!! Or they are Lucky boys.

A BL in Kdramaland...Now this is a step in right direction ?

Never have I wished for a Cdrama to have more episodes before (well why would I as they all seem to have 30+ ep and end up being draggy). So I found myself hoping and wishing that they do a Season 2 for this fantastic piece. This has been a brilliant drama in my opinion ? hands down.
The acting, story and music has been great that I found myself humming at the end of each ep. whilst yearning for more.
The chemistry between the ML and FL is very natural and brilliant ?. Their eyes convey so much love and care, and when they're together you can just feel peaceful. Such a shame that they didn't have much screen time.
And the bromance is one of the best I have seen. The brotherly love is strong and they just get each other (so far in 18 ep.)
What I also love in this drama, is that apart from the apparent bad guys, there are so many good people as well so the hating pool is short on this one.
Well, I can go on and on forever about the beauty of this underestimated drama. Anyway I will be rewatching this definitely.

I saw that too and it appears like he stabbed Lu Ping...I really hope upon all hope that it's not the case or ot was just one giant dream nightmare or Else I will be devastated ?. Exactly as you said, that trope of turning friends into foes is so old and overused, so hope they don't do that.
If it actually happened, I have no doubt Xifan will come to regret it big time whilst Lu Ping will be heartbroken especially their conversation in ep. 14.

Wow, if you were doubting this drama like me then Ep. 14 will sell it. It's pretty damn good! I'm usually good at figuring things out in the mystery of the story but this ep. surprised me not only once but twice....wow.
I definitely didn't see that coming at all and I really liked the plot twist. Oh and the bromance is always the cherry on top...I got a little emotional.
I'm still on the fence regarding ML and FL chemistry and right now I'm like whatever ? since it's not taking too much screen time. As long as we have our Zhaifang fantastic four and their drunk money hungry shifu, then it's all good.

No need for the insult "You're blind" as it's disrespectful to people who are actually blind. Nonetheless, as you said, I'm entitled to my own opinion and so are you. I respect yours and I hope in future comments you learn to communicate better with others.
