I thought about that too. But I think it’s the way that CSS and LBY have handled the matter - exposing him in public such that he had no choice but to kill himself. I think they could have done it the normal way and just arrest LB. In fact even LB himself had asked that they adjourn to a private place but LBY didn’t give him that chance.

I wonder what Wang Ling said to CSS. The script is trying to make SS afraid of LBY all over again I fear. That’s why she was couldn’t bear to stay with him even when he was sick coz of his allergic reaction. 😓 Oh I don’t like that.

As much as I love this pair too I don’t mind if the show had skipped this part to leave more reconciliation time for the leads because frankly we’ve hardly been shown any development of their relationship other than the kiss in the carriage. It’s really a pity coz I really like QQ’s character.
