The comment section gives me Utsukushii Kare flashbacks.... means some people are simply too vanilla for this drama (there is a bit of kink in here and people go weird over it). It also seems like a lot of people don't understand the whole "arranged marriage" deal here and that they are from a rich Asian family and kind of live in a different society with different norms than other people (they have to look more on their public image, avoid scandals etc). Yes, the characters have massive flaws but that is the point.... they are misunderstanding eo and clashing constantly. That is the plot, them having to find ways to clear things up and discover each others boundaries and real desires. Nobody is perfect, everyone has traits and inconsiderate moments that might hurt others. Life is a big learning curve you guys.
The first time I am watching a drama and constantly think "Why don't you just fuck already?!" at the mains. I mean they both have the hots for each other since episode two and at least Nuea knows it that they both are into each other but all they do is teasing and edging. Which I can see why Nuea has fun doing it but I don't really get why he pulls back every time even though Toh basically offers himself on a silver platter.
This drama could be so good if it toned down on the cringe acting... I have the same issue I had with Y-Destiny: the extreme overacting of shyness and being embarrassed. That is cartoony little toddler body language and it's so annoying seeing this on grown up characters. It pushes over the line into ridiculousness. I do love seeing feminine gay characters in main roles for a change, but it's still on the level of cliché comedic relief + it also still has the cliché predatory note as well (here as stalker behavior). And at the people who say this is the same as in Utsukushii Kare... no. SCONY would be UK on crack in a clowns costume with lower morals. Like Hira felt already guilty for taking photos of Kioyi, he would be embarassed for Tohs room and secret collection lol
I am still watching for the side couples mainly and I recognize that they are trying to do some different flavors for a change. *insert "He a little confused, but he got the spirit" meme here*
Your edit made me laugh because I find it so relatable.
Haha, but they are still annoying lol but I watch it as parody otherwise it's all very questionable. I like the second couple and I kind of fell in love with Ging Areeya ^^°
I think they meant that is how some people always act on this website here unfortunately. Not that they themself support judging things and negativity before a show even aired.
Currently at ep8. It's actually not that bad if you need something not so deep but still nice and sweet when you are stressed. I still like the uncles and the side couple the most. The mains are adorable but a bit dorky-overdramatic sometimes. But I gotta say the classic "undressing and drying the sick one with a towel" scene was the funniest scene I have seen in all the BLs that I saw using this trope.
A fair amount of BL fans - more precisely a fair amount of straight female BL fans - only like boys being cute…
and that are just asian ones, I know a few western ones that fall in the "explicit m/m or f/f sex" during the plot category as well and they are not even new series / movies, but they are more targeted towards LGBTq :
Queer As Folk Shameless (US) Cucumber, Banana, Tofu Freier Fall (Free Fall) Sense8 Sommersturm
There are way more but that are my favs, I grew up with, that come to my mind atm. But yea, they are all not cutesy and innocent enough for some BL audiences. Whatever, but it would be nice if those people could stop pretending that gay people don't fuck.
Or maybe just talk it out, because that's what they messed up. They both just pretended to be fine when they were not, which results in them both misunderstanding, hurting themselves and each other.
I find it weird how they are portraying it like Thorn is in the wrong... when he clearly isn't.. Fah literally…
I didn't feel like they were putting it on Thorn, it looks more like mutual miscommunication and mainly from Fahs side. They were pushing each other in directions they pretended / thought they were fine with but they were lying to themselves. Similar to Saen and Aii.
... there is no gore in this drama. They don't even show the process of killing, just bodies and blood. Which…
I understand. i just wanted to clarify this also for other people who might read this comment. It is generally not good to use words in the wrong context or in an overdramatic way. It just causes confusion or misunderstandings.

Edit: ok, it's indeed getting better / funnier or I got used to it.
