This was good, but one thing that bothered me was Peace. I know he's korean but his thai sounded so unnatural…
Hu? I love his accent and that they didn't tamper with that! Makes it way more realistic and endearing, especially since none of the Korean kids in the story really voluntarily moved to Thailand and had to learn it pretty quick. But barely anyone in real life who learns another language manages to get rid of their accent fast. Same with Junho, his Thai is also not perfect worse than Peace even (which is part of his characteristics and why he doesn't do that too often). Basing character depth on someones voice / pronunciation is not it.... Peace's personality and intelligence is not tied to how well he speaks Thai. And it's also very normal that peoples voice sounds bit different in different languages.
By the way, the Korean actors all learned Thai and one Thai actor (of Jihoon) learned Korean just for their roles which is impressive imo. The guy who plays Wongi is fluent in both since he actually lives in Thailand since a while (but is Korean).
I love that the um, assigned bottom–the manager played by Folk i mean, is the PhiMost if not all because I can't…
a few that I can remember where the bottom one is older than the top: pit babe, goddess bless you from death, kiseki: dear to me, mystique in the mirror, sammy's children's day, playboyy, see your love, the novelist
I kind of collect non-cliche couples in a list lol

Same :'( it's devastating. I am so hooked on Bangkok Boy because it scratches exactly that itch I am missing in BL. They should try to market it towards more audiences that fit the niche instead of adjust to the masses. But the director said in an interview that he wanted to film this story because he wants to bring that change to the industry. Fingers crossed he keeps doing that.

I was thinking about donations as well! it would be and option for sure. Especially since we interfans can't support them with buying merch or event tickets.

It's true that he said that he heard it wasn't that successful in Thailand and it's hard to fund. But it's not set in stone that it never happens. They took like 2 years to finance season 1 🙈 I just hope that they don't give up, even if it takes a while again to get it all together. They published it on youtube and on viu end last year too, maybe they get some money over that :') And I see more people who only get interested in watching it now, because they only find out about it now.
I would be happy with a movie instead too, if it doesn't work for a full season.
But the thing is, the concept is amazing but pretty niche (it is for BL and action fans but how many BL fans like action and how many action fans watch gay romance). Which isn't bad (because that's where people like me live lol), but you can't earn much money with niche content. Especially not if they just set on Thai audience.
