... I was just thinking the same while reading some comments in here.... While a lot of us feel so validated by this show a few just can't relate / don't care and that's what brings the discourse here... Some just don't grasp the importance and the messages of this show and why it is "slow on the romance". Because it is not just about a romantic fictional story for entertainment...
This actually surprised me with the plot. It started with an attempted ONS but turned into a gripping push and pull mixed with an eventful night that ended with a completely different outcome than what the mains planned.
This is one of the few movies I actually hate with passion and regret that I ever spend time on watching it. It is basically a ridiculous (not in the good way) romcom that makes fun of r*pe and treats it like a silly little accident. The characters and the acting are annoying as well.
Note that I do watch plots with r*pe if it's realistically but this here is trash.
