I liked the acting.

What is it with all the kidnapping in this drama! First he kidnapps her from her wedding without he consent and does lits of other things without her consent. Later she kidnapps an almost dead man from a hospital. I liked the show but the behaviour was highly problematic. Especially for 2024.

I agree. I think it's well written and I also love the acting of all of them.

I am not a "cult" follower too. I just love his work.
I wasn't aware that he was cast in so many romcoms. "Suspicious partner" was just half romcom. And "Backstreet rookie" was more comedy. "Welcome to Samdalri" was a mixture of so many genres with such a big cast. I think he did as much action work as he did the other genres.
By beeing typecasted I think it's more interesting that he mostly was cast a the "hero" or "friendly boy next door" with a few exceptions in the last couple of years. I am very curious if we can see a darker character in Gangnam Bside. But to be honest, no matter the character - he always nailed it.

You have a point. His next rumoured movie for Netflix would be a remake too. But remakes aren't always bad. Take "Dune"f.e.

I get your points. I was just referring to what Ji Chang Wook mentioned recently about beeing typecasted. I think he has shown us a wide range of characters so far. I also can understand that he doesn't want to do this project. We just had "Moving", "The atypical family" and Lee Junho is doing a project with super powers too. So I think it's a korean trend atm and not only Marvel. I don't think the drama Fabricated city will be the same as the movie. I think he could add some fantasy to his catalogue but that seems to be a forte of cdramas. Something like "Alchemy of souls".

I diagree. I think there's an oversaturation with this kind of stories since Marvels big run. And I can understand that Ji Chang Wook is tired getting of action roles. He was K2. That's basically an action hero. And South Korea did lots of superpower-kdramas recently.
The cast of "Twelve" is amazing anyhow. Let's see if they deliver a story that matches the hype.

Lomon is like a younger Ji Chang Wook. He's very versatile and a very good actor. And he looks like the korean Henry Cavill;-)

I liked it too. But in retrospect it was just okay. I enjoyed the watch though and the music was great. I also loved the second couple.

Yes. He can definetily act. The script was just not that great. "Wedding impossible" at least had a good first half while "Cinderella at 2am" was soso all the way through.

"Cruel intentions" is the american teen version of the 90ies. The Netflix version was a french movie. I forgot the name.

I think Moon Sang Min is a good actor. His last two projects were fluff but it wasn't really his fault. I think he played well on Wedding impossible. The roles weren't that demanding. I hope he gets the chance to play diverse characters in the future.
