I thought the same. He's really an inconsistent written character cause this seemed too big of a failure for someone who earns his money by bringing life into this world instead if risking it. I'm still enjoying the show. Especially Oh Jung Se. He's so aloof. Lol

I saw dozens of similar plots and if he knows the writing could have been better. The whole thing with the scar mentioned by the crown prince and his whole facial expression didn't make it clear that he knows. In other dramas they did this better.
I hope you're right though. But maybe they went for "dumb prince". ...just kidding.
Overall I enjoy this drama.

Yes!!! It's really akward but seems to be common in kdramas. It was extreme in "Descendants of the sun" and a big reason I didn't care for the FL.

I hope Kim Do Woon gets a chance to flex his acting chops. He was great in "Moving".

He was great in "Are you human too?" playing an assistant as well. I also like the antihero he played in "Vigilante".

I agree that it is a relationship out of convenience. But for me a toxic relationship is when the partners hurt each other all the time. The relationship here seems like they just went unto it because they needed each other at the time. It's not ideal and bound to end but it's not necessarily toxic. I don't know how to explain it better. Sorry.

I meant that no character who is in a relationship in episode one seems to be with the partner of his or her dreams. I guess we will see some breakups instead of cheating.

I wouldn't say it's toxic. They seem to be there for each other but they are not in love.

How groundbreaking for a kdrama would it be if she ends up with Jun Hwa or even her bestie from the bathhouse instead of the prince. The chemistry with the prince seems forced for the sake of the plot. I also think that the crown prince is a bit dumb for not figuring out that Dok Su is a woman after all the hints he got.

That's exactly why I like it. They dont try to recycle other kdrama plots or copy Hollywood sci-fi movies . It's refreshing. Beeing a biologist myself I really laughed at the whole fruitfly and mouse scenario.

I think they'll break up before they start something new. But it's clear that noone is in a relationahip that's truly fulfilling. Happens in real life too.

Episode 2 was hilarious. It's great that they don't ho with a typical scifi-plot.

I like it. It's nothing new but the leads are great actors and I loved it that he changed the office door for her. So cute.

I think I will enjoy Oh Jung Se playing the alpha male so much. He's such a great actor. That alone is a reason for me to watch. Lol
