He Ru Fei is such a wicked and despicable character - conniving with the Wu Tuo tribe and betraying his deputy generals, among other things. I haven't read the book, so I'm eager to see what his end would be.

I like the scene where He Yan did the sword dance 👏! I watched it twice. Imo, the action/fight scenes in this drama are excellent. The story's moving at a good pace, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming episodes 😊.

Just finished ep 24 and its ending makes me look forward to the upcoming episodes. The 4th case is heart-wrenching, and I like that they integrated the 5th and 6th cases with the happenings in the palace and the capital. As for Qin Wan and Yan Chi, I like their scenes together 😊.

Just finished episode 15. I like the flow of the overarching story and the cases, and how Yan Chi and Qin Wan's relationship is moving forward 😊. They have good chemistry too. I'm looking forward to the next episodes!

Just finished ep 4. The autopsy scenes felt so real! Even the scene showing Yan Chi's wound look so real too. Also, I like the night scenes with lanterns and fireworks. They're so colorful and vivid!
