Same here. I regret a bit that I put off watching Love O2O for so long, but it's better late than never. Like it a lot and have watched it twice (more than 2x for some eps).

Agree with @kalarro :). Even if I watched it in 2023, it's still a very good drama and I like it a lot! I didn't feel that it's so drastically different from dramas in recent years. They had smart phones, were already using social media a lot, etc. One thing different that I noticed in this drama is how they still used cash/hard currency, because in recent dramas, they were using online wallets and rarely or no longer use cash to pay for stuff.

Same here, I was often annoyed with the SML while I was watching this. I can understand why the FL doesn't like him.

I also smiled a lot while watching this drama, and I like their in-game interactions (it's good that the same actors portrayed their in-game characters) :). Agree that the in-game sequences were well executed, and acting-wise, majority of the actors did really well. I also like that the ML and FL became a "couple" in the game first, then eventually in real life, and they have great chemistry too. I have watched this twice (more than 2x for some episodes). It was a fun, feel-good, and enjoyable drama for me :).

Kudos for a good review! I agree with your observation on YY and ZLS's chemistry - they have sweet/romantic and heart-touching moments, but not passionate enough, and at times they were more like very good friends rather than lovers.

Agree on the chemistry! What's upsetting is that there is a cut kissing scene in ep 26. You can see it in the "Deleted Scenes" thread above.

Only a few kissing scenes since some were deleted. But even so, you can still feel their strong chemistry in their romantic scenes (w/o kissing) - small actions such as how they look at each other, their smile, embraces/hugs, etc.

Yes I agree. I was drawn into the story right from the start. It helped that I saw some pretty good trailers before the drama aired (watched this while it was airing and had to paitently wait for episodes to drop, while discussing the drama in this comments section 😄).

Episodes 10-11 contain one of the drama's turning points. And yes, WCR nailed her role. I like her scene and acting toward the end of episode 10. Keep watching and enjoy the ride 😊!

They're playing dirty. Agree that WDX should have openly supported YY and WCR. When I watched their "Hello Saturday" guesting, the 3 of them seemed to be on good terms.

Thanks for posting this. I hope YY and WCR know that they have many international viewers and/or fans who like the drama and are supporting them.

Imo, WCR's studio should sue, since what these trolls are doing is cyber bullying. Though given what I read, China is a late starter in addressing cyber bullying, so not sure how this would pan out. Hope their gov't takes a tougher stance against it soon.
