After a few years of watching C drama, I realised the C ent./industry, C social media platform, can be very toxic.…
I also notice the toxicity, that's why I rarely check weibo and other Chinese social media platforms when it comes to Chinese dramas and actors/actresses. I only check them every once in a while if I want to find out more or watch some videos, or find out ratings of dramas.
Who is this fl. Why have i never seen her before. She is gorgeous. Does she have any other drama?
She is in "Oh My General" too, playing the role of Liu Xi Yin, the cousin of General Ye Zhao (played by Sandra Ma). That's her first drama. Check it out if you have time, I highly recommend it :).
Good turning point in episode 16! I like the idea that they're getting to know each other again, and in a way, the scene where they shook hands and said "Nice meeting you" symbolizes it. The demo scene towards the end is funny, such as the medical team's (all girls) eagerness to "try" the step that XQ did 😄.
I'm liking and enjoying this drama a lot :)! It's a story of second chance romance that gradually builds up, such that I'm anticipating and excited for the character development and progress of the story. I can already see the chemistry between YY and WCR. And I have to say this: love the drunken confession scene in ep 10! IMO, Wang Chu Ran was able to show all the angst, frustrations and pain that she had bottled up inside. I actually rewatched that scene before starting on ep 11. Looking forward to eps 13 and 14 later! That's the downside of watching a drama that is airing/not completely released - it's a waiting game, and I can only binge-watch a few episodes at a time (but this can also be good because it's like a control when I have other things to do) 😄.
i'm so confused by the comments. im loving the show so much so far but i seem to be the only one. i think the…
You're not alone! I'm liking and enjoying it a lot :) . It's a bit of a slow burn, 2nd chance romance, and I'm anticipating the build-up. As I expected, there are side stories related to their professions, but the drama does not deviate from the main story.
I just finished Hidden love... Hoping to start this one to move on..How is it?Is yang yang again playing the flawless…
I'm liking it so far :) Agree that it's a slow burn 2nd chance romance, and I'm anticipating the build-up. As I expected, there are side stories related to their professions, but it does not digress from the main story.
Saw the trailers in Youtube, the drama looks interesting. So I'm watching this in Viu, finished 3 episodes last night. So far so good, I like it :) . Since I just finished "Here We Meet Again" recently, when I see Vin Zhang here, I can't help but think of Xu Yan Shi 😃.
I just finished this drama yesterday. This is a romantic comedy that is fun, light and entertaining to watch :)!…
Xu Yan Shi's mother appeared towards the end of the series, when XYS requested her to help Xiang Yuan's company, meaning she has the financial means to do so. It was also mentioned in an earlier episode that she has a successful career abroad. This shows that XYS was in touch with her somehow. Does this mean that he was in constant communication with his mother? If so, when he needed to pay Chen Shan/Wei Lin for the breach that happened while in university (which was not really his fault), why didn't he ask her for help? Or they just started keeping in touch when he was already working? Thanks for any info. I might have missed this.
I just finished this drama yesterday. This is a romantic comedy that is fun, light and entertaining to watch :)! There is great chemistry between Vin Zhang and Janice Wu (they have many kissing and romantic scenes), and they were able to bring their characters, Xu Yan Shi and Xiang Yuan, to life. There were some misunderstandings between them, but the good thing is, these did not last long. I agree with the comment that there is some push and pull between the leads. The drama also showed relationship dynamics and happenings in the workplace, both good and bad, the realistic and unrealistic ones. I find the industry that the drama focused on, i.e., satellite navigation technology, quite interesting, so I did not get bored in the scenes where they talked about it. It's good that the drama also showed friendships and family relationships (although not perfect). Lastly, I like the OST, especially the opening and ending themes - they're quite catchy! Overall, this is a good drama for me :).
I have some questions that I'm tagging as a spoiler below. Maybe someone knows the answer? Thank you!
I plan to watch this but is the male lead here is really no good prince or just pretending?
He has that reputation, as the summary says, he is "...pampered, lazy and spends his time on 'useless' artistic pursuits." He pursues pleasure and the finer things in life. He's not exactly pretending, but more of, he didn't pursue bigger, more worthy goals in life and didn't think he can make a difference, that is, until Ye Zhao came into his life. His character grew a lot throughout the series. It was not an overnight change, but rather a process.
I struggle with this genre but this sounds like something I might enjoy ♡
Agree! Mika and Xing Ke Lei have one of the healthiest romantic relationships in C-drama land. Imo, their interactions as a couple are very natural and authentic :).

Some of the excerpts of this interview are also in Mango TV.
SY: "Of course. You're one family (or you belong to the same family). Let's go Xiao Meng!"
XQ: "What do you mean? Are you saying that I'm a dog?"
