I liked it but the end really killed it for me. I dont know if it was really cut short form funding issues or what the deal was but it desperately needed the final 2 episodes (1 hour total) to wrap up some things or at least an extended final episode of 10 more minutes. We dont see if Sae Woo parents accept him, or if Doo Chil meets that woman for the 5th time and dates her and his mom gets to see him marry, or what ends up happening to Poongs ex wife now that her her CEO boy toy is in jail or if she apologizes for what she did. Why would they bother to write any of these things if they did not intend to finish it? Clearly something happened and the final eps were cut or filmed and not released.
All the disappointment aside with the ending, I did like it. I love Jung Ryeo Won. So pretty and talented and she was so cute in this drama. I adore her. I like how it was kinda a noona romance too though she was just a few years older in the drama but in real life she is 9 years older than him!
8.5/10 but that short ending idk..it really bothered me. Seriously why bother adding plot stuff you have no intention of completing or cutting episodes. Ugh.
wow! haha that's a really good gamble that paid off well. It's very intriguing, and though I have no idea how…
I started and finished About Time and Miss Hammurabi. I liked Miss Hammurabi though I did expect more but About Time not so much even though of all the ones I initially started to watch (wok of love, handsome guy, whats wrong with secretary kim, are you human too) I was most excited for About Time lol but it left me rather disappointed. While waiting for the others to wrap up so I can marathon them (saw the first few eps though), I started Life on Mars and its legit lol. Its really good. Makes me wonder what else I looked over especially since the recent dramas I have left to watch while not bad are not really living up to my expectations for some of them. Life on Mars though has really blown me away, so good.
Agreed, such a good drama. When I was selecting dramas to pick up I initially skipped over this one and I dont even remember why but I found myself bored one day looking for something to watch as a filler and time waster so I picked this up and WOW I felt dumb for over looking it at first. It immediately became my current favorite out of all the ones I have been watching. As the original dramas I started with are wrapping up they ended up not being as good as I thought while Life on Mars that got skipped over at first is ending up as the best one. I also love Go Ah Sung, she is very talented and pretty and too bad she isnt in more things. Her character is wonderful.
This is such a low key underrated drama, I just hope it ends well because i guess the British one dropped the ball.
Very pretty and talented,w ant to see more of her. Also in About Time she sometimes looked like Uee lol idk why but maybe like she had a sister haha. I also like Uee a lot too.
Just finished. I liked it but it was nothing special. Best scene was the end trial for the woman who killed her husband in self defense. I thought that juror would tank the whole thing since how he treated that woman on the bus but he actually saved the whole thing. It was nice and unexpected. Go Ah Ra was very pretty, very striking eyes. Lee Elliya as well, glad to see her again. Hope to see more in the future, same for Lee ye Eun, two very underrated but talented people.
Try Team Medical Dragon if you haven't watched it. Or Code Blue. Both of them have more than 1 season. While TMD…
I saw Code Blue, it was really good! Just waiting for the new movie to get subs now lol. Team Medical Dragon is next on my list after I catch up on some Kdramas.
Why does Oh Reum always wear the trench coats lol If shes not in one its the judges robe. Its been a while since I saw Go Ah Ra in Black but didnt she also wear one all the time in that? Couldnt stop thinking about it when watching this.
The World Cup messed the schedule so they cut this drama short by a week because another show was premiering that…
Normally shows get delayed a week or something, never ever heard of a show getting full finished and filmed paid episodes outright canceled/cut because another event happened
Was this cut short on episodes? I am not done yet but several comments are saying it was cut short or should have been longer.
Without spoilers, is the ending incomplete or not satisfying or not a happy one? Did it get bad reviews in Korea so they cut a few episodes to save money?
Pretty good. Seo Ye Ji who I love, did a wonderful job as usual. Lee Hye Young was also a really good villain I thought too, loved her character and how she acted it. Same to Choi Min Soo, really made me think his character Ahn Oh Joo was a legit gangster the producers hired off the street. I dont want to sound like a hater but I thought Lee Joon Gi was not a good pick, I just could not believe him to be this badass tough guy fighter and idk but he reminds me of a cute little mouse lol I dont hate him he did well I just think they could have casted someone better for the role. His fight scenes were good, I noticed that usually in korean dramas fight scenes are kinda bad compared to other countries or the korean movies but this one wasnt too bad.
Other than that it was a good drama with an engaging story and characters. Safe ending, nothing too serious overall. But I liked it. Glad we got to see Seo Ye Ji in another role, looking forward to more of her. And another shout out to Choi min Soo for Ahn Oh Joo, he really did the part well I have to say again. Made me a fan. Too bad this is the first time I have seen him.
I wish they had made Seo Ye Ji's character learn to fight more, maybe not at an expert level but show that she at least used it to defend herself once since they bothered to have the scene with her learning how to fight with Lee Joon Gi. And not because "waa damsel in distress we need more strong kickass women" or anything but since they added that scene I was expecting her to beat someone up with what she learned. But not a big deal, it was a cute scene.
Season 2 would be nice if it had all the same people now in Seoul fighting corruption there with a more darker serious tone with higher stakes. Too bad my two faves would be there, Ahn Oh Joo and Judge Choi. But at least we would get more Seo Ye Ji :)
One of my top favs. Very talented and pretty. Knocked it out in Save Me which I loved. And again in Lawless. Idk what it is with her but I really think she is great at what she does. Looking forward to see more from her in the future and her past works. Also that pic of her, who chose it? Its so bad and zoomed in, what a terrible representation of her. I noticed that with a few people on here, who the heck is picking these pics?
Really like this guy. never got to see him until Lawless Lawyer and he became a fast favorite of mine, He nailed the role perfectly, very impressed. I really thought the show just hired an actual gangster to be in the show lmao. Top tier guy. The looks, facial expressions, voice, mannerisms, the way he carried himself, it all yelled legit gangster.
Where are you guys watching this? The only place I found with it seems to have all the subtitles out of sync by several seconds and it varies by how out of sync it is, it makes it almost impossible to watch for me.
