If I’m completely honest this only kept my attention for the NC scenes and BossNoeul’s chemistry.
I realised by episode 9 they were never going to explain the whole concept of this series with the white room or even why or how the other guy could hear people’s voices. Not to mention the mother who seemed like was going to be a big scary character, did nothing really and then the conclusion of that part of the story was ridiculous .
I feel it either should have explained and kept with the multiverse or gone along with the mother storyline. In the end it really did neither. Then of course there is the stalking which is turned into a sweet gesture basically 😂
I hope these actors get a better series next time. They do have awesome chemistry.
I’m glad it was only 10 episodes though. Felt drawn out at that. Still enjoyed parts of it.
As a fan of Seo in Guk and in need of a lighthearted short series. This was just what I needed.
It’s an interesting concept. Nothing too deep or dramatic. Some may say boring or it’s slow but as it’s only 10 episodes I didn’t mind. The difference between BoD and real life felt like the right balance.
Loved the characters and the guest cameos. I hope nothing like BoD ever becomes a reality though as I can see how it would be addictive. As an introvert it would be my ideal dating situation.
Just finished this series. I seriously considered dropping at episode 1-2 some people said give it to the end of 3 so I did. And then continued. The time jumps were really bugging me in those first few episodes.
I didn’t see how Kelvin was ever going to be likeable. Let’s be honest in reality there is no way Veir would forgive, let alone love Kelvin.
Their chemistry though is 🔥🔥🔥 visually they are bliss to watch. Especially Fort and their comfort with each other is obvious.
Liked the girl couple too.
Now the last episode. What was with the comiical classical music for the bomb scene (surely not meant to be funny)
Glad they mentioned Kelvin went to hospital. I’m sure he needed more than a few months though.
Overall I enjoyed the chemistry and that it tried to be darker and different to fluffy BL’s. They maybe went too far with the crazy though.
This was different which I could appreciate. The acting from everyone was amazing. Offgun are so comfortable with each other and it really shows. Dew was especially great. I’m glad it was only 10 episodes though. Whilst I did binge watch it, it still had a slow feel to it.
Without spoiling I’m not sure about the ending. It was hard to root for anyone to be happy to be honest. Probably because this felt more real than most cookie cutter BL’s.
I was close to dropping this after episode one. I didn’t like the style or perhaps I just wasn’t in the mood for a courtroom drama. I love Ji Sung so I wanted to like it.
A couple of people suggested I watch up to episode 3 and I’m glad I did. The style / feeling did change.
I won’t lie, there were definitely times I was confused who were the good guys and bad guys. So many characters. Too many.
From the 1st episode I definitely expected his In law family to be the major players but we barely saw much of them, except his wife. They really only appeared near the end. So him marrying into that family really didn’t matter to the storyline in my opinion.
I’m glad I watched it but also happy it was 14 and not 16 episodes. Loved his friend group too. .
the story picks up in ep2, I think if you love Ji Sung you will enjoy it despite not liking political courtroom…
Thank you for your reply. For now it’s on hold as I went a completely different direction and started watching “Can this love be translated?”
Sometimes you have to be in the right mood for the heavier more serious dramas. I may give episode 2-3 a try tomorrow and then go between the 2 if it holds my interest.
I love Ji Sung so much, so I waited for this to complete before I started it. But for some reason I didn’t even find the first episode that interesting. The end of episode one was also confusing. Obviously I understand I need to continue to find how why.
I’m not usually a huge fan of political or courtroom dramas unless they are special. Should I even bother pushing through with this? I see a few have commented they dropped it later.
Does anyone think my love of Ji Sung is enough to spend so many more hours on this? Thank you
I just binge watched this on 2-3 days. I did enjoy it although episode 9-14 dragged a bit. I think it would have been better at 12 episodes.
I’ve only just started to rewatch Chinese BLs this year and I have to say they really are improving. I get before censorship’s made it hard to believe in their chemistry due to barely any contact and no NC scenes.
The latest batch of Chinese bls have felt more hot and steamy but showing less than say their Thai counterparts.
As an older viewer I sometimes just can’t handle too much gmmtv school series.
I do wonder why when Thai series are toxic especially Mames work, they get so much hate. But Chinese bls are next level toxic and no one complains.
Anyway for those that don’t mind toxic characters this show was not boring to watch. The actors did a great job too.
The first 4 episodes were definitely the best. The second half of the season was a bit confusing. Lee iljo was flip flopping every 5 minutes if he was going to stay or break up with Seo Jeong Han. It literally felt like that was all the second half was.
Whoever cast the younger versions of themselves did a terrible job. They looked like they should have swapped roles. Or picked actors that looked more like them.
It was only 8 episodes so not a waste of time. I just wish the second half was more like the first half.
I’ve just finished this and I’m shocked to see such negative reviews. I’m glad I didn’t read them first as some times it does put me off watching a drama.
I enjoyed this for what it was. An easy to watch rom com. Yes it has all the cliches but I liked all the actors and characters. The chemistry between everyone including work colleagues was great.
Last episode seemed to fit a lot into it and then not resolve a couple of things but I enjoyed this and sometimes I can get really bored with some rom cons. I guess for just have to be in the right mood. Now time to find the next serious thriller Drama

Worth watching once.
