I dont think the ML and FL themselves know either. It’s like they have a bond but not necessarily romantic but…
Agree. Can’t tell if it was there at all He often looked at her through his younger self when she was even younger than him ( 5 year age gap?) a definite bond though whatever it was.
It usually takes me a while to choose my next drama. I will read the synopsis and then who’s in it. Then I tend to look at the reviews and it can put me off. An hour later I sometimes still haven’t chosen what to watch (it gets so hard when you’ve watched so many)
Despite this being on a lower score I decided against reading reviews because I had a feeling I would like it.
I did enjoy it and glad I didn’t read reviews first. Was it perfect? No, but really nothing is. With such a large cast it did a good job of making everyone feel relevant to the story. I would have like some romance, I still don’t know if the ML & FL actually had feelings for each other. That was vague.
First 10 episodes I was hooked. But knowing it was 32 I knew it would be a struggle in the middle. I know this…
Was the very end meant to indicate college life was a third comic book? Or was it meant to be later of the comic Secret? They did the 1 year later for graduation but didn’t indicate a time frame after that.
First 10 episodes I was hooked. But knowing it was 32 I knew it would be a struggle in the middle. I know this is equivalent to 16 episodes in time but even 16 always has 3-4 unnecessary episodes to draw it out. So the middle did drag and repeat a lot.
I still enjoyed it. Nice to see Rawoon again
Can someone please answer my add on question that I’ll put in a spoiler about the last episode?
I’m not often a lover of JBL’s, I’ve watched a few, however I just binge watched this in one go. I also don’t like slow series, which in someways despite it being only 7 episodes this felt like it had space to breathe each episode, but in a good way. Would have loved this to have been 10 episodes.
The emotional was so real in this series. I think it would have to be a first that I got teary during the leads sex scene of them cheating on their partners.
I don’t feel like we really got an answer as to why Fujisawa wouldn’t touch or sleep with Sei. I thought they cleared up their feelings but that didn’t end how I expected. Don’t want to spoil.
In someways I feel like Hagiwara would have slept with anyone that gave him that connection he needed.
hey😘had some questions since you've finished the drama:is it a happy ending?is there romance?is there a triangle…
I guess it ended happy although a little left open. They didn’t make it a sad ending. Hard to explain that unless you want more detail.
From other people’s posts it sounds like a season 2 is happening and I can see why that could work.
There is romance and thankfully not any love triangles. Light on the romance but it’s there. The usually Korean drama lips just touching lol. But the last episode or 2nd to last it was a full on proper kiss. Which surprised me after all the pecks lol. As long as you don’t mind blood, and I mean a lot of it, it was a good drama. Something different.
Just finished this series. I guess the one thing I wished I’d known before was how bloody and gory it was. I tend to avoid horror, particularly with torture. There was a lot of torture in this series. It was a good show, felt a little repetitive with the early episodes. As there was basically one case per episode. Then it got better.
Korean series really make shows with realistic gore. It’s a good thing if you can handle it. I will still watch series 2 if it happens.
Wanting to add the whole cast did a great job and it is quite a big cast. All the side characters were interesting and added a lot to the show. Great ensemble. Also the story was different which it’s good.
I’m in Australia and have been trying to find this for years. I have most of the subscription services and they aren’t on the ones mentioned here in my country. Does anyone have further suggestions to find it? TIA.
Another BL done and dusted. I was glad it was only 12 episodes. As 16 ones really drag. I can’t figure out what rating to give this. Once I’m at 8 and above I really enjoy something but I’ve left this one blank.
I liked that the storyline was different to anything else I have watched. I think the actors did a great job, and would like to watch them again.
There are some plot holes, but that is a given in most series dealing with fantasy genre.
Not the best but no where near the worst either. An easy in between watch.

I’m assuming it’s a new book playing out.

The show certainly wasn’t what I expected either. It started out reasonably normal then twist and turns every episode. At least it wasn’t boring.

Overall one of my favourite JBL’s

Not many bl’s are catching my attention. Whilst this certainly isn’t perfect I am enjoying it.
