Title Genie, Make a Wish Spoiler
was it happy ending? or at least satisfying?any annoying triangle or SML?
I cried a lot in the first half of the last episode. But it was a happy ending in an unusual way. Fantasy genre gives it a way to be happy but unconventional. Hard to explain without ruining it.

No annoying love triangles thankfully. I gave it an 8 / 10. It was an easy binge. I didn’t get bored.

Editing to add it wasn’t an open ended ending either. It was complete and happy.

I enjoyed it. I’m really liking these shorter dramas lately. I can imagine it might have felt dragged out if it was 16 episodes.

Loved all the cast. A rare thing in kdrama is the real, passionate kisses between the main leads. Makes a nice change to the dead fish lip kisses.

Yes it got confusing at times but not enough to drop it. As others have mentioned the ending was ok but not the greatest. Again, not a reason to not watch it though.

Title Twelve
When I started this I couldn’t believe the low score and I still think it’s lower than it should be.

I came for the cast and genre, but just stayed for the cast. 80% of the show is fight scenes. Although that is far too much running time ,those fight scenes were great. I loved how they were choreographed and the actors and stunt people did an amazing job there (this could be because I have literally watched the worst fight scenes with shocking sound effects on a Thai drama) also their weapons were cool.

I was happy until the end of episode 4. Then I saw what the real problem was. This should have just been a movie. So many flash backs that took up a further 10% min of each episode. So many questions unanswered that you weren’t sure you would get.

Technically you could almost just watch episode 8. Or if you just want to know what’s going on at once instead of bit by bit just watch the first 5-10 minutes of episode 8 first.

It’s better than its low score and I still enjoyed it. Just lucky it was only 8 episodes. I did love all the actors as I knew I would.

Don’t just dismiss it because of other reviews. It’s not perfect but I’ve seen worse.

I’ve only just completed episode 2. I pray it gets better. I’m only watched for Boun at the moment. Story already seems choppy and confusing and don’t get me started on the shocking fight scenes and sound effects.

Mark is nice eye candy too. But I’m not sure if Boun, Prem, Mark & Aun are going to be enough to save this. I hope I’m wrong. Certainly has a higher rating than I’d expect.

I may give it another go another time. Sometimes depends on my mood. However I had read other people didn’t like it either. I’ve gone back to shows I’ve dropped before and enjoyed them and other times I remember why I couldn’t get through it the first time. Have you seen it?

I didn’t pick up that she ran for the 22nd and not the 21st president. Thanks for pointing that out. I like to think the ending was also how you interpreted it too. Especially seeing the gate open.

The only reason seeing him in the desert wasn’t as clear cut was only because earlier they had shown her husband telling her about his son whilst she was reading the letter.

I find it quite funny I liked this series.

I avoid period dramas because I can’t get into them. They all seem to have the same plot, the similar costumes always makes it hard to follow who is who and trying to decipher who are the good guys verses the bad guys is hard.

Throw in the fact this is like an asmr cooking show, and I dislike real cooking shows I thought there was no way I would like this.

I saw the good ratings and that it was only 12 episodes long and thought why not give it a go.

It was true I was struggling to work out who was who aside from the main characters and working out who was good and bad took me longer than most. But I really did enjoy this as something different.

I wish I could get into period dramas more as that would open a lot more shows for me to watch. Especially with my favourite actors. But they are always about feuding royal families. Often a girl in disguise as a male. And as mentioned before the costumes make it harder to work out who is who.

Please feel free to mention some others that I might find interesting and not boring and drawn out. The ones I haven’t minded in the past have been half in the past and half in current time. My favourite like this was Legend of The Blue sea.

So if you aren’t sure about watching this for the same reason I hesitated, I’d say give it go.

I just finished season 1 & 2 again in a row.

I loved season one (watched 3 times now) however I was getting annoyed towards the end at how selfish the main couple became. Going on a few days of dates while innocent people died around them seemed like really bad taste. I get it’s a romance but surely you couldn’t go out and enjoy time with each other knowing you are just making more people die.

Having watched the second season for the second time. I’ve decided I liked season 2 more. I usually love romance with my action but the comedy and relationships between everyone in season 2 was even more enjoyable.

After rewatching season 1 for the third time to finish season 2 for the second time I have decided I actually preferred season 2.

I enjoyed the comedy more and the relationships between everyone. I usually like romance with my action but it wasn’t needed in this one.

The only thing that kind of annoyed me was why in the final episodes suddenly their powers were much greater. Surely if they had those powers they would have easily beaten everyone in the first 3/4 of the season. But that’s just a minor annoyance.

When I rewatched season 1 I was really annoyed at how selfish the main leads became at the end. Let’s have a few days of dates while innocent people die.

I can’t remember the romance factor too much but Mystic Pop up Bar was a great series If you haven’t seen…
If it helps she’s not in the second season lol

I hope you enjoy it. Sometimes you have to be in the mood for certain dramas as you said.

Is there a love triangle...?
No. But the friend did also love her. She just didn’t love the friend like that.

I’ve just started it for the 3rd time. I don’t often rewatch series. Just my super favourites. I wanted to rewatch season 2 of nine tailed so decided to rewatch 1 again. And series 3 will be coming.

Oddly enough what I love about kdramas is that they are like spread out movies. I was over American series that just kept on going. I’d rather see my favourite actors in many different series than the same for 6-7 series. Only a handful do I not mind series 2 being made.

But I will add Nine tailed isn’t light hearted like Head over Heels. It definitely has funny moments and more romance though.

When you’ve watched as many dramas as us it’s hard to find new ones lol.

I was enjoying it till about episode 6 or 7. Thankfully it wasn’t a 16 episode series so I kept going.

I don’t even know how to explain how the last 2-3 episodes were. They seemed so different to the rest of the series. And I’ll be honest it was only after reading the episode descriptions I even knew who was possessed by who and when during those last episodes.

Why did they keep the evil lady around and why did the flower shaman guy keep helping her? It was also like there were so many rules for why they couldn’t or could save someone and felt like in the last episode let’s just make something up to resolve it. Why make it seem impossible for it to be ridiculously simple.

I didn’t hate it, but it was a struggle to get through the last few episodes.

It wasn’t wasted time and it was just a good filler. Especially being only 10 episodes.

If it had of been 16 episodes I doubt I would’ve watched it all. Nice cast ensemble which made this light and enjoyable.

The ML’s character changed very quickly personality wise. That perhaps wasn’t believable. I guess the run time had something to do with that.

Just editing to add I now remember the first half of the series felt like everyone was loud. Whether it was crying, yelling and fighting. That did bug me at first. I either got used to it or they calmed it down. The first 1-4 at least felt like that.
