I think this is the first time I've followed a drama on MDL as it's airing and seen so many debates and arguments about the characters' actions, their choices, and how they handle the events in the storyline.
CGH acts like a fool, cloaked in a facade of nobility and courage, but in reality, he is simply someone devoid of reason, with childish and irrational behavior.
The Emperor... he is the reflection of cruelty disguised as authority. As a father, he is a monster, incapable of showing any trace of humanity. A terrible person, cold and calculating, I hate him!
Now, there is no longer the hidden identity between the two. And from this point on, there is a faint hope that the relationship between them can finally evolve. There is still no trust — on either side — but there is space. A new space, where closeness can, at last, begin to blossom.

A fief is a portion of land granted to lords or nobles. In the case of NH, the emperor planned to send him back to his fief, which was far from the capital, in order to keep him under his watch and away from the throne. By making this decision, the emperor made it clear that NH was to pledge loyalty to him, strengthening the relationship of subordination and control over NH.
I am eager to see the moment when SYM will finally surrender to NH’s love and trust him completely. I do not blame her; in fact, her attitude is quite understandable. Think with me: if you found yourself in a story where you know that every decisive moment involves your suffering, and that this suffering is caused by ML, would you be able to trust? And even if the plot begins to change, and with it, the characters as well, the key elements remain the same. How, then, could FL feel secure? Naturally, she wants to survive this story. For us, the viewers, it is painful to see NH being wronged, but SYM can only see things from her own perspective. Even though she comes from a modern world, fully aware of the various kinds of narratives, she cannot escape something larger than herself: the script, which dictates the crucial moments of the plot and controls all the characters involved. What makes me anxious is knowing what will be needed to dispel all her insecurities and what will be the crucial element to change your destiny and NH.
I can't stand Soo Min (Korean version) and I feel the same about Reina here. My God, what a hypocritical, envious, fake girl, aaaah 😡 I've watched 3 episodes so far, and it has a different pace from the Korean version, probably because there are fewer episodes. Also, there are many changes, which is good because we’re watching a story we already know the flow of, but there’s always something new. The FL seems to be more assertive here, the ML has a slightly different behavior/posture than the Korean version, and I liked how he told Reina some truths in the car hahahaha

One of the worst fathers (if I can even call that a father) I've ever seen in dramas.
