Yeah, I noticed that some time had already passed since she joined the company, but really have to pay close attention to the details because they show things in a more subtle way. But, like you said, they have to condense some things. Still, I’m really enjoying it so far ❤️
The first six episodes were very easy to watch. The chemistry between them is incredible, and the tension is very evident. And Luan Nian is a case of his own… what a handsome man! 🤭 I completely understand you, Shang Zhitao 🤣 I don’t have a preference between a romance that develops slowly or quickly, as long as it is well developed. Here, I feel like it happened too quickly, and I think this part could have been given a bit more context (or maybe the episodes were so easy to watch that they flew by and gave me that impression) 😂. Anyway, so far, their dynamic is working, and I’m curious to see how this attraction will develop and turn into love.
I'm excited! Even though I don't know much about the drama itself, I saw a few scenes and the trailer and really liked them. So, I'm hoping it turns out to be good! 🍿❤️

If she truly saw him as such an important friend, the story needed to show that more concretely through its development. It’s not enough for the character to simply say it, we need to perceive and feel that connection through their actions and the way their relationship is built, something that, unfortunately, the script failed to convey.

In the past, yes, Xuanqing had feelings for Jinzhao, but he failed to act when he should have. He let time pass and lost the chance to fight for her. What he feels is no love, but obsession. The obsession of having lost her to his own uncle, of watching her move on and find happiness with Yanyun. When love is real, even with a broken heart, you still wish for the happiness of the person you love.
