Excellent first episode. It had me laughing, which is a good sign - the combination of a good script acted to its full potential, as here, will definitely pull in the viewers.

Playing catchup, I just saw the first two double episodes and preferred the second one by a long shot, the first being a bit confusing from the beginning with Kim suddenly finding he's inhabiting the body of Pluem and it only gradually emerging that he and Khao were boyfriends before his untimely death and having to navigate his way as Kim back into Khao's heart. The second was a lot more fun and has its origins in the world of opera, such as The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart and any number of operas by Rossini and Donizetti, with their secrets and deceptions in convoluted plots involving a cast of many side characters to carry the plot to its inevitable conclusion where true love triumphs in the end. Unlike the operas, the main couple in Marry Go Round is gay and are about to have a wedding they are concealing from their respective parents, but one of the mothers suddenly finds out about it which heralds all the situations that follow, mostly involving a bevy of brothers and sisters, one of them being a fujoshi, until all is suddenly resolved because of a wedding ring. Love is love, no matter which genders are involved, and stories will always be written about this eternal human condition.

I'll tell you why I think this is better than a lot of the fluff emanating from Thailand, Taiwan and Korea right now: it has a strong, dynamic storyline (albeit with a few holes), a great cast and enough twists and turns to keep the viewer interested. Once again, amnesia plays a role, like it or not, there's a compelling back story between the two families and the incident with the tiger, both when Hia Yi and Kohndiao were youngsters, to spice it up. The action moves along at a great pace. There is very little to criticise as far as I'm concerned so just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Your second last paragraph sums it up perfectly. Beautifully expressed.

It was cute, certainly fluffy and in the end didn't add up to much. I mean, Jun and Jun meet again, there's an attraction between them, it grows and they (secretly?) become boyfriends due to their positions in the same marketing company. The cast was very attractive, the production and script were adequate and it made for easy viewing.

I don't think it's as good as the Thai original but it's worth watching, however, it takes a while to get into it.

Where are you watching it? The video and audio are high quality on what I'm watching, and of course, using Chromecast to my TV so the audio goes through my hi-fi in stereo makes it even better.

Must Yoh say Huh! almost every time Segasaki says something to him? So annoying.

It was bad enough that Shin got selective amnesia but then for Akira to panic again and decide not to tell him they were boyfriends, they were really roommates, was particularly annoying and I felt like kicking some sense into Akira. Fortunately, the others decided enough was enough and set up a multi-date for him to make things right. I expect that will happen in the next episode.

This is so good! It has the same vibe as To Sir With Love, another historical drama but a little further back in time. I'm watching the hour plus episodes and I'm enjoying every minute of them.

I just saw the last two 'special' episodes and it feels like they got different writers in for them - there was just something different about them to the rest of the series, Ep. 9 featuring the execrable Tart and Ep. 10 examining the invisible boyfriends of Dino's friends while the group was sitting around a table eating. All a bit weird, as was the character Chalarm who is anything but typical in his behaviour and really stood out, but at least it finished with Dino and Rak happy and lovey-dovey in each other's arms. When one considers how reticent Rak was to let Dino even kiss him for so long then for him to turn into a sultry seductive lover who inflames Dino's lust was quite a transformation. The kissing by this stage was on par with TharnType. The other thing I want to say about Rak is his attire. Despite the hot climate, he goes around wearing a cardigan which is in itself very odd for a teenager and not once are his arms uncovered except sometimes when he's in bed with Dino, but even then he'll wear a full-sleeved top. That aside, I liked this show and am not as critical of it as most commenters below are, though I always find it surprising when I read that people skip scenes when watching it which I think is rather silly. It gets a standard 8/10 from me.

No, that distinction goes to Love Sick Season 2 (2015) which had 36 episodes.

I'm only giving it a 7.0 because I find this show difficult to follow, there are too many couples and it crosses from one couple to another one frequently, plus the conversations mostly don't add up to much. It's just too random and all over the place.

I rarely watch a drama that isn't of the BL genre but for some reason, this caught my attention and as I began to watch it I became more and more hooked by the story and the characters. It was really well written and thought out, the acting was excellent, it had high production values and the special effects were used sparingly but effectively. I loved how everything got wrapped up neatly, all the villains got their just deserts and the others went on to live peacefully (more or less) and find their own happiness. If there is a Season 2 I will definitely watch it. A strong 8.5 from me.

Ep. 7. Near the beginning, when Shin called Minato stingy, I think he really means he's a pain in the neck, which up to that point he has been. As it continued, his panicked reaction to anything Shin said or did was just more of the same nonsense we've been seeing all season, until the last minutes when, with supreme effort, he revealed to a senior that he and Shin are dating. Thereafter, he allowed himself to be more of a boyfriend, holding hands as they walked down the street. Next week he might even allow Shin to kiss him. I'm keeping my hopes up for that.

What's wrong with those people who can only criticise the show and want to drop it? It's actually one of the better shows on at the moment and in Ep. 7 when Ashi decides to accept Pun as his boyfriend and they spend a happy time at an idyllic seaside resort then announce they are dating to Pun's family who are all delighted, I was just smiling the whole way through. No one does the joys of first love better than the Thais and this was a textbook depiction.

Who cares. It's unimportant. They love each other unreservedly.

Pure fluff, mostly inane dialogue and otherwise little of real interest. Then there's the weird timeline in the first part. Rak is woken up by his phone and hears about Dino's misadventure from Mhee who says he'll pick him up in 10 minutes and take him to Dino's place, who also brings some food and drinks with him then surprisingly they're talking about having dinner. Where did the preceding 8 hours go? We also know Dino is besotted with Rak who wants to take things slow, which apparently involves no kissing though I think that has already been accomplished. Dino moves in to kiss Rak ever so slowly and as their lips are about to touch, quick as a flash Rak picks up his bottle of drink and takes a sip with an accompanying sound effect. It's rather silly but one could describe the entire episode as such. Nevertheless, Dino does sneak in a quick kiss later without any comment from Rak. Only 2 episodes to go. One would have thought there'd be more to the story than what we've seen so far so it really needs to pick up pace.

Ep. 10. From what I can make of things, I think the guy in the barrel was the person who attempted to murder Lee Ha Neul but was stopped by the guy with the cross on his wrist who told Lee Ha Neul to disappear, which is what he effectively did and also changed his name. He is, in fact, the guy in black who was following Dong Ju, spoke to him a couple of times and is last seen near Dong Ju's residence where Kang San is almost about to find him but is interrupted by Dong Ju who tells him to go back inside with him. Had they met, I'm sure it will transpire that this guy is Kang San's long lost brother.

Ep. 9. Was the dead person in the barrel at Sopyung Lake whose student ID card was retrieved with the name Lee Ha Neul the boy who was murdered there 27 years ago? If so, would he have been Kang San's classmate? Also, who is Kai and how is he related to what is going on? Answers would be appreciated.
