The endless violence is bad enough but if Day loses his memory again after being bashed by that deranged little twerp P and doesn't recognise Itt again, I'm going to downgrade my score from 7.5 to 7.0. That would be just laziness on the part of the writers. I'm glad the next episode is the last one as this is one of my least favourite series from Thailand in quite a while.

From what I can make of it so far, Tai realises Dr Patts is his soulmate and appears to be attracted to him (in his dream they kiss passionately) but is playing hard to get, while the good doctor is definitely attracted to Tai and outside the cat clinic is definitely flirting with him. However, I don't know where Tai got the idea that Patts is a playboy and is seeing someone else but having made those accusations while he was drunk, instead of seeing Patts defend himself, it jumps to the next scene, it is now morning and Tai wakes up in a strange bed then realises he's in Patt's condo - end of episode. Before Tai makes his dream a reality, I think it's going to take a while to get there so we're going to have to endure Tai being standoffish for some time longer. As for his brother Tian and his documentary partner Lomfon who don't really like each other, it's hard to see them becoming the secondary couple, but you never know.

This is an adorable and utterly charming series and I love the growing friendship between Souta and Mahiro. At this point, eating naked is becoming incidental to the plot as we're about to see Mahiro gently kiss Souta while he's asleep, not knowing that Mahiro also gives him heart palpitations when they're in close contact with each other. A love of food and cooking does bring people together.

This series is lacklustre at best and not terribly interesting and coupled with its short duration is probably best viewed in one sitting.

Ep 06 with English Sub t.kisskh.co/hZMd
I don't recommend watching the version on KissAsian because the subs are so atrocious you spend the whole time reconfiguring them into comprehensible English; watch the YouTube version instead where they are much better.

I've just watched the first three episodes and I'm finding this charming series quite delightful. It's another slow-burning romance, just like The Eighth Sense (only in that the ML were separately very handsome and cute) but with, of course, a completely different setup. I'm looking forward to seeing how the relationship will develop.

Food is the driving factor and I have to say the recipes look fairly easy to make and are most appealing. I vaguely remember seeing a series in which food played a major part and the recipes were I think shown at the end of the show; pity it's not done here.

Am so happy the last two episodes were released at the same time and having begun watching this series only 3 days ago, I was impatient to see them. From the start, I was hooked by the story and how the two leads came to fall for each other in a big way, but also these characters had depth and seeing them evolve within themselves while learning to understand each other (with some help from friends on the one hand and a therapist on the other) to become true loving boyfriends was most satisfying. I think this sets a new high for KBL and though they are far less prolific than TBL, the quality of the writing and the acting leaves many of them in the shade. The finale brought it all together superbly without being at all fluffy as so many Thai finales are, ending on a particularly high note, not only for Ji Hyun and Jae Won but for the secondary characters as well.

Side note. This was the fifth series for Lim Ji Sub who played Jae Won and his first gay role. Such a handsome young man, a veritable dream boat. He assumed the role as if born to it. Heaven knows if he's gay or not in real life but his pairing with Oh Jun Taek who played Ji Hyun in his first dramatic role was inspired. Their kisses were real with much feeling. I loved how he transformed from a country mouse into a sassy young man. Likewise, it was fascinating to observe the insular and somewhat tortured Jae Won who despite himself couldn't help but fall in love with the cute Ji Hyun who in turn managed to draw Jae Won out of his depression and self-absorption to one who could love and enjoy life again, which makes this show so uplifting and caused me to upgrade my score to 9/10.

Ep. 9 was an improvement on the previous episode but it's not saying much. At least Park and Tin kissed but at this point in the series Tin should really act a bit more mature. In the finale, I hope to see Kana and Pao kiss.

It blows my mind how much $$$ is wasted in Thailand making this kind of awful stuff. How can truly bad, bad productions…
It's really not that awful, but Love Syndrome III is on the whole.

The relationship between Itt and Day is not normal or healthy. Despite Day being a jerk most of the time, Itt is apparently still in love with him and cares about him as much as he always did, though why is a good question. As Itt's boyfriend, Day is incredibly possessive and insanely jealous of anyone taking the slightest interest in him and afraid if he becomes friendly with someone else he'll be dumped. They are forever alternating between making up and bickering. It's all becoming a bit tedious and the story, such as it is, hardly moves forward or goes anywhere. Thank goodness it's coming to an end soon.

What can I say about the finale of this series except to quote Miss Prism on the meaning of fiction: "The good ended happily, and the bad unhappily." Most of the bad guys ended up dead and Ms Ae was imprisoned while Ken and Din/Peter apparently ended up together in Thailand again at Sai's wedding on the 7th day of the 7th month, a date significant to them too, at which point, all they did was look at each other.

After Ken and Din/Peter made love to each other, the latter left in the morning to take care of all the baddies and despite hales of gunfire from multiple men and a few with knives, he miraculously overcame them and left them all dead. Either they were all terrible shots or he's made of Teflon. It's a shame that there wasn't a proper scene with him and Ken where they discussed the past, kissed and looked forward to the future together, but the story came to a close in its own way which I can live with and feel that it wasn't entirely a waste of time watching this despite its flaws, as the locations, cinematography, acting and the dramatic score compensated for that, so it earns from me a standard 8/10.

This is now available on GCINEE - choose Server O because it's HD.

Made in 2016 before the crackdown on gay content, this film tells the story of one boy, Xioan, who is torn between his love for two other boys. It all takes place in a dormitory and its surroundings. The ending is sudden but indecisive because it continues with snippets during the end titles. It has poor sound, the subtitles are not good, and they flash by too quickly.

Finally! Ken and Lue kiss!!! I've been waiting since the first episode and I just have to say that was one hot…
I think you mean Ken and Din as Lue kiss then make out, to both their satisfaction.

So it's finally confirmed, Mr Lue is Din and Hin is his older brother. Their sister Sai knew about the swapover but didn't tell anyone, though it appears when Hin sat down at the opposite end of the table with Mr Lue, he appeared to know this, but how I'm not sure - one of many inexplicable things the script doesn't deal with properly, just like in the last scene where Ken calmly enters Mr Lue's unlocked house (he's not in a hotel for a change, being a foreigner, but in his house which is a bit like a museum or art gallery, and how he knew about it and found it is another mystery), finds a gun and presses it against Mr Lue's back while he's in the shower, then tells him to prove he can get over Din if he makes love to him, which he does to his complete satisfaction - that's obvious by the way we see them sleeping together after the lovemaking.

For a moment, I thought it would end there, but there's still the final episode where I suppose it's going to deal with all the baddies who provided so much of the action and drama. It's all been a bit of a mess, mainly due to the fragmented way it's been put together and some things just not being clear. One remarkable aspect is that when someone is badly injured, a short time later there's no sign of them (looking at you, Mr Lue). For Ken, it's certainly been a bumpy ride but at least now he's found happiness with Mr Lue, even if he's still in the dark about his real identity.

On Unintentional Love Story Apr 15, 2023
The good thing about binge watching a series is that it allows one to immerse oneself in the story so one becomes more involved with the characters as we follow the trajectory of their unintentional love affair with all its ups and downs until it reaches the inevitable happy ending. This one did not disappoint. It is easy to see why Wonyoung and Taejoong could not help but fall in love with each other as the former is so cute and the latter is attractive and talented. On the downside, I found the kissing rather passionless and Taejoong barely changed his expression or tone of voice. The side couple provided more in the way of light relief and they were most engaging. It had an excellent script, great production values and I could easily believe that Taejoong was a master of making ceramics. Overall, this was a very well made, well told and enjoyable series.

This series is not that enjoyable. I have no intention of reading the books and having reached Ep. 4, I'm finding the relationship between Day and Itt rather toxic. I'm aware Day has a psychological hold on Itt by spoiling him in the past and making him dependent on him in a sort of dom/sub situation but since the accident, it is based more on powerplay without any redeeming features, with Day becoming mean, nasty and unreasonable while Itt for some reason still seems to be in love with him, though why he isn't turned off by Day's awful behaviour beats me, yet he's still hopeful that Day will be more like the person he used to be. Good luck with that. The others around them have criticised Day to no avail but it's like water off a duck's back. It's just so unpleasant.
