I rarely watch a drama that isn't of the BL genre but for some reason, this caught my attention and as I began to watch it I became more and more hooked by the story and the characters. It was really well written and thought out, the acting was excellent, it had high production values and the special effects were used sparingly but effectively. I loved how everything got wrapped up neatly, all the villains got their just deserts and the others went on to live peacefully (more or less) and find their own happiness. If there is a Season 2 I will definitely watch it. A strong 8.5 from me.

Ep. 7. Near the beginning, when Shin called Minato stingy, I think he really means he's a pain in the neck, which up to that point he has been. As it continued, his panicked reaction to anything Shin said or did was just more of the same nonsense we've been seeing all season, until the last minutes when, with supreme effort, he revealed to a senior that he and Shin are dating. Thereafter, he allowed himself to be more of a boyfriend, holding hands as they walked down the street. Next week he might even allow Shin to kiss him. I'm keeping my hopes up for that.

What's wrong with those people who can only criticise the show and want to drop it? It's actually one of the better shows on at the moment and in Ep. 7 when Ashi decides to accept Pun as his boyfriend and they spend a happy time at an idyllic seaside resort then announce they are dating to Pun's family who are all delighted, I was just smiling the whole way through. No one does the joys of first love better than the Thais and this was a textbook depiction.

Who cares. It's unimportant. They love each other unreservedly.

Pure fluff, mostly inane dialogue and otherwise little of real interest. Then there's the weird timeline in the first part. Rak is woken up by his phone and hears about Dino's misadventure from Mhee who says he'll pick him up in 10 minutes and take him to Dino's place, who also brings some food and drinks with him then surprisingly they're talking about having dinner. Where did the preceding 8 hours go? We also know Dino is besotted with Rak who wants to take things slow, which apparently involves no kissing though I think that has already been accomplished. Dino moves in to kiss Rak ever so slowly and as their lips are about to touch, quick as a flash Rak picks up his bottle of drink and takes a sip with an accompanying sound effect. It's rather silly but one could describe the entire episode as such. Nevertheless, Dino does sneak in a quick kiss later without any comment from Rak. Only 2 episodes to go. One would have thought there'd be more to the story than what we've seen so far so it really needs to pick up pace.

Ep. 10. From what I can make of things, I think the guy in the barrel was the person who attempted to murder Lee Ha Neul but was stopped by the guy with the cross on his wrist who told Lee Ha Neul to disappear, which is what he effectively did and also changed his name. He is, in fact, the guy in black who was following Dong Ju, spoke to him a couple of times and is last seen near Dong Ju's residence where Kang San is almost about to find him but is interrupted by Dong Ju who tells him to go back inside with him. Had they met, I'm sure it will transpire that this guy is Kang San's long lost brother.

Ep. 9. Was the dead person in the barrel at Sopyung Lake whose student ID card was retrieved with the name Lee Ha Neul the boy who was murdered there 27 years ago? If so, would he have been Kang San's classmate? Also, who is Kai and how is he related to what is going on? Answers would be appreciated.

It would be fair to say that both Minato and Shun are emotionally retarded and how both Shin and Asuka put up with their coldness and resist even showing the slightest affection to their younger boyfriends is beyond me, except to say they must both be masochists. I have to agree that this is one of the most disappointing second series ever to be made and that the writers who decided on this particular storyline should be fired forthwith, and for creating really irritating characters. It's also basically plotless.

I've now watched the first two episodes and I fail to see why so many commentators are so down on this series. It's really not that bad and moves along at a decent pace as the story develops, far-fetched though it may be, but that's not unusual for a BL series.

"Su Yu is mine!!" says Wu Bi to Ye Wanying emphatically. She then proceeds to lie to both boys in order to create conflict and succeeds up to a point. At least Wu Bi was able to see what she's doing but poor Su Yi is left puzzled. I'm sure she'll be out of the picture soon, especially as Mo Yi is willing to drop her after Wu Bi tells him he definitely doesn't like her. Good riddance!

Ep. 11. It's at this point with the appearance of Ye Wanying, who knew Su Yu from long ago and is ostensibly the girlfriend of Mo Yi (Wu Bi's older brother), that the original Addicted Heroin series came to an abrupt end with three further episodes due to air but have never surfaced anywhere. She is more interested in Su Yu than Mo Yi but the feelings are not reciprocated. On the contrary, the two boys 'like' each other without saying it directly, but it shows in little acts of jealousy, the way they sometimes look at each other and confirm that each of them is the most handsome. They have become inseparable and at home wear matching pyjamas and sleep in the same bed. It's about as close as 'the love that dare not speak its name' we will probably get to see.

End of Ep. 7 when the boys talk about love and wanting something exclusive. It's rather subtle, but SuYu appears to be reaching out to WuBi which is picked up by him and who I think has feelings for SuYu that we've seen in some of the surreptitious glances his way and again, after suggesting to SuYu that they sleep at his house, WuBi puts his arm around him and they head off.

yall i need help is it a bl or bromance????? please tell me asap
You haven't been paying attention. First, it's from China, so there can be no gay content. Second, see above in the Tags. In other words, it's a very toned down Addicted, Heroin.

I'm just wondering how long it's going to take Dong Ju to tell Kang San his real name and that he actually teleported from 1995 to the present. The longer he leaves doing it, the more he's going to contort himself with lies and deception which could somehow lead to his undoing. That includes the novel he didn't write that was in the backpack given to Kang San before he landed headlong onto Dong Ju's car and who took him to the hospital. Meanwhile, with his supernatural powers, Kang San finds himself unwittingly helping the police with cases in progress by inserting himself into their lives and helping them achieve some sort of justice. These, however, are merely diversions to the main plot surrounding what happened at the lake back in 1995 and Kang San needing to find out who he really is and wanting to find his brother. It's an engrossing, well made drama, not my usual fare, and even though I find Dong Ju somewhat annoying, nevertheless I'll keep watching.

Such a long and drawn-out final episode but at least it ended as it should, with Pat and Jeng back together as expected. I liked the close and supportive brotherly relationship between Jeng and Jaab but it's a pity that the Jaab and Jen romance wasn't more fleshed out. Pat was cute but emotionally immature and had a few too many crying scenes. His chemistry with Jeng was good but not outstanding. Jeng, son of the president of Jian Group, level-headed, thoughtful and for the most part far less emotional than Pat, was the right foil for him. He didn't want to follow in his father's footsteps and eventually take over, so in the end he decided to resign, handed over his resignation letter and walked out, then we saw his father bin the letter, which meant that in the future he could return as VP, so there could be a second series, though I doubt it. This was not the most compelling of series but it passed the time well enough and only just managed to keep one interested till it was all over.

Oh dear, so many negative comments. I liked this show, despite the fact it was more bromance than BL, though the cooking was probably the best part - everything looked so appetising. The trouble with the MLs is that most of the time they were too reticent about stating what they felt, hence the backtracking and misunderstandings, and took a long time to realise that they loved each other after a fashion. Once that was established, the relationship didn't go all romantic or become sexualised as normally happens which for these two just wouldn't look convincing, so in the end, without even a kiss, they decide to eat naked, bringing it back full circle to the premise of the show. That was a nice touch, over in a flash, yet it was still satisfying.

The mess that constitutes Ep. 10 was entirely the writer's urge to create the most drama he could devise and somehow by the end of Ep. 12 hope to bring it all to a happy ending for all concerned. Whether he succeeds has yet to be seen but I'm sure it will involve some convoluted plot devices.

A few points:

1) Lomfon sets about trying to prove Tai was his soulmate the wrong way, then when it fortuitously rains and he finds out Tai can hear him, he construes that to mean that not only is Tai his soulmate but also someone he should be in love with, though Patts warned him not to go there and thereupon kisses him. Crazy stuff. He is beaten up by Patts then told off by Tian who tells him he likes him and then walks away, disgusted and disappointed.

2) Tai lies to Patts that he can't be with him on Sunday because he has work to do. In reality, he's spending the day with Lomfon. They are spotted together, a photo is taken and sent to Patts who goes with Tian to confront them. They see Lomfon kiss Tai who displays no resistance. Patts is understandably incensed, attacks Lomfon then tries to find out if Tai really loves him but he can't provide an answer. They eventually break up. This shouldn't have occurred. Tai isn't in love with Lomfon, even if he is another soulmate, so why is it so difficult for him to put that aside? It's illogical.

3) Patts sees the photo of Tai and Lomfon and goes to Tai's condo where he and Tian then go to where Tai and Lonfom are. After Lomfon kisses Tai, Patts beats the crap out of him (without leaving a mark!) and has a series of altercations with Tai, resulting in them breaking up and both being utterly distraught. Patts didn't deserve to be put in this situation and one has to feel sorry for him.

4) Tian is on the periphery of all this drama. He's upset at what his brother did and mad at Lomfon for what he did because he likes him. Whether Lomfon already knew that, I'm not sure, but it leaves Lomfon estranged from the other three with only himself to blame.

Young Rak can't help but be a boy magnet for other boys. He's broken up with Mek, who's a controlling, selfish jerk who also slept with his best friend, Kram, who he's also cut off. Good for him for showing a bit of fortitude but he needs to at least block them on his phone. Concurrently, he's being pursued by Dino, who is brash, straightforward and has a good nature. He's also protective and concerned for his welfare. Rak likes him but isn't ready to give his heart to him yet and reminds me a little of Jack in A Boss and a Babe. Nevertheless, the potential for a love match is certainly there and that obviously is going to be the main storyline. I'm liking it so far. It's fairly light and harks back a little to simpler times with a more conventional plot. Definitely one to watch.

Title Tie the Not
With Lousie being a spoiled, controlling little bitch and Shao not saying he's in love with her - yet - though that is more likely to be never, while he on the other hand has become close to Briggs who unbeknownst to him has fallen in love with him, the likelihood of the marriage going ahead is becoming less and less certain, except Louise's mother is in the background pushing it to happen for purely mercenary considerations. Shao, unfortunately, is resigned to his fate, which combined with him not being a strong character who lets himself be pushed around by his fiance, will need to get some balls if he is ever to find true love and happiness with Briggs.

I quite like this series, though the dialogue certainly needs improvement (which can be said about most Pinoy BL series), it's dotted with clichés and the direction could be stronger, but these shortcomings are mostly compensated by the assortment of gorgeous guys who provide the eye candy, and thank goodness for that.
