I hear you. Or even know the fancy suite exist and be awed by it, unless it's reserved for family and never ever…
I've worked in hotels too and later traveled a lot for a different job ... anyway we were expected to know pretty much everything (even if the lobby didn't directly come and help .. they could give instructions from the lobby and/or over the phone or know who to call for which situation) but i imagine it differs by hotel. Anyway they explained that in 2nd episode that it was a vip area and only certain staff are allowed, i imagine only certain cleaning staff too. Probably someone who was experienced enough for their standards.
How does Yoon Ah work in the hotel for 7 years yet not know that the toilet windows have such functions?
I hear you. Or even know the fancy suite exist and be awed by it, unless it's reserved for family and never ever guests. Some people are trying to say she only worked the lobby... but that job requires you know all the functions and amenities in the hotel so you can help or inform guests or know which and what rooms are higher end and their features.
Well some might want to keep this in mind about the story... in SK it is very frowned upon getting a divorce many women just suck it up and stay. Some even think it's shameful. Women often bear the brunt of the stigma. I think part of the story goes along with the current feminist movement in SK where women are learning it's ok to get a divorce and you can live the life you want when you dump a cruddy cheating spouse. This to me was the moral of the story. I knew an older woman who came to the states and said she finally realized it would be ok for her to divorce (he was an abuser). So I'm not surprised at the ending, don't really like it as much since I'm in if for HEA romance .. also, I'm probably sure Dr. Roy was part of the - it's ok to be self-sufficient and not just bunny hop to rely on a man just because they like you. All of this type of thing we've mostly gone through in the US (heck tons have probably divorced so the concept is not new to us as it is for older gen SK. You can even see how the different generations act about divorce esp when the MIL talks about how she should forgive etc and stay married. Blah, blah. I wanted to smack her lol.
If they do get divorced, the children will more likely think their mother wants to abandon them, or their mother…
As a child of a messy divorce i can say you are underestimating how much kids understand about the situation. Also only one child knew the real deal. Anyway not all children act out the way those girls did, some accept the reality of the situation and deal with it better than others.
I am going to say I had to take another look at In Ho. Yes, he is a donkey and this does not justify his actions…
Well i kind of disagree. I think he's relied on her to make his life easier, and he's worried about his reputation as it was shameful to get a divorce on SK. (It used to be hard to even get them). And his mother told him to stay with her. Plus in a divorce she'd easily get significant alimony (always about money ugh). I say i don't think he cares because she is only an afterthought, no consideration given to her at all, and even more telling they hadn't slept together for years. Her only saving grace is that she gave him kids.
If she had people volunteering then it's because they wanted to .. i know many fans that wouod be so excited to. It's not like she forced anyone to so not sure where all the controversy comes from.
