Nam Jihyun was amazing as usual. However, I felt that the drama lost itâs promised plot quite early and the main story had nothing to do with her being a thief OR the body swap, they were miscellaneous plot lines at best. That threw me off, I expected something like Knight Flower but it was just another seguk with lovers from enemy families
I canât believe itâs been three years and I am rewatching this drama. I think a lot of comments are too harsh…
Upon rewatch though, I think the writers meant for Yeon Dooâs uncle to be the sperm donor for Chun Myungâs baby but dropped the storyline halfway. The shaman said Soo Jungâs baby had two fathers and they were those two and not long after, Chun Myung suggested a sperm donor, then they kept meeting coincidentally⊠in retrospect, I wish they would have seen it through.
I canât believe itâs been three years and I am rewatching this drama. I think a lot of comments are too harsh on it but the romance between the leads is nice and grows from mutual respect and goals, like another comment said, the drama is mainly about showing what makes a family. Spoiler, not blood
Sorry not sorry to the writers but that locker room scene in episode 2 was cringe đ€Ł does this team not have a coach? Assistant coach? Manager? The captain is boss?đnot even the Supa Strikers were rolling like thisđ
I loved this drama! Each character brought a different colour. Dr Oh was so easy to hate but the man has aura for days! As for the team, I loved watching them. Watching lawyer Hwang battle between his morals and ambition was interesting (and whatever was happening with him and Nan-hui) and despite what everyone says, this world has a lot of idealists who care about the weak and we need even more before Elon Musk eats us all
Itâs not about forgetting or ignoring history..itâs about reading the situation accurately.in this case thereâs…
People get conscripted and refuse because jail time is often better than serving an Apartheid state. Anti Apartheid South African activists got conscripted too. Anyway the point wasnât whether the grandfather was evil or not. Youâre correct, itâs nuanced so we donât know. The point is about how their reactions, are justified even if they may be rushed, lacking context and maybe wrong. But theyâre not baseless like when Knets cancel an actor for dating

Perhaps Iâm missing something but how is his granddad a victim? I didnât compare HIM to a Nazi, I compared Japanâs crimes to those of Nazi Germany and I donât think thatâs a leap at all. He made a comment which is reasonably offensive, whether the punishment fits the crime is something I wonât say comment on but just because Knets said it does not automatically make it wrong, nuance and critical thinking must be taken seriously in such contexts
The chemistry was 10/10 but the character development was really lacking, the female leads barely had any character and while I enjoyed the passion between the male leads, I donât think there was much besides it. As for the ending, Iâm also wondering if theyâre planning a sequel or I am slow on the uptake because it did not serve the rest of the story and it seemed to just leave things hanging. I was quite excited and the passion was worth it I guess
If you were making a Jewish movie and the lead was someone who ârespectedâ Nazis, you wouldn't call the backlash dramatic. Why do international fans shame everything done by Knets? Why can some tragedies and crimes against humanity be mourned while some must be forgotten so you can get your drama fix??
