What if hyx is not even real though? 🤔 It wouldn't be that far-fetched to say we've been just getting fooled by a bunch of fan edits and maybe on 1st April, they'll reveal that hyx was actually a prank for april fools day all this time. I've my clown wig ready for that day.
Just in case, if anyone's curious about the one who committed all the murders for Xiaowei - it was Xiaoyi, a chameleon spirit who has unrequited love towards Xiaowei, and his speciality is hiding that's why he never got caught. I saw the original after completing it and turns out that he was actually a pretty sacrificial character. He doesn’t exist in the original story by Pu Songling though, which is vastly different than both the Painted Skin movie and this remake.
Jaeyi is a bit suspicious. She has been too perfect since the beginning and everyone trusts her so much that she even got included in the secret investigation on the police chief's murder despite her being a civilian. Not to mention, she somehow guessed correctly that the cop she and Jihoon were following was there for a job interview and got rejected, simply by their gestures... Either she's a genius or came up with that excuse because she's secretly working with the higher-ups along with him for some reason. It would be a great plot twist though.
Because it's a bl? If not the main characters, then who'll be gay? The trees in their backyard?... I honestly…
Woa how do you always manage to come up with the worst things to say in your defence possible? I guess there's no point in arguing anymore since it's nothing but 'Yes' 'No' 'Yes' 'No' 'Yes' 'No' 'Yes' 'No' kind of conversation. I'd rather watch paint dry :|
Edit: I wasn't going to argue anymore but you said a dumb thing yet again, hence I couldn't ignore it... Do straight characters in dramas announce their identity over and over again infront of their significant other? No they DON'T, because anyone with eyes and a working brain can tell that if they're deciding to spend the rest of their lives with the person they love, they must be attracted to them. Both emotionally and sexually. So why do someone need to specifically yell that they're gay or bi when their actions already tell so? Are you physically incapable of understanding something unless you're told a whole explanation or what? Also, straight (I've to use them again and again as an example because you're probably one) characters don't start a whole harem of opposite gender just because they're attracted to them. "I don't like others, I only like you" is something they do say too, because well that's the truth. For everyone who has ever loved someone, not just straights. You can be attracted to any gender but love only one. It doesn't automatically turn you into a demisexual - which is a term that you're overusing without even understanding the actual meaning of.
Edit 2: Your logic is so ridiculous that it's straight up comedy lmao.
At least put it under a spoiler.Edit: Literally visited after a whole year because someone replied to my comment…
It's a common courtesy to put a spoiler when your post is a spoiler and just because it's 'hard' to notice doesn't mean it's impossible. You and the op are the ones making it a big deal by being stubborn over nothing. Grow up.

Well, you can still accidentally glance at them while scrolling through the comments. Putting a comment under a spoiler tab isn't that hard, all it needs is just one click. Stop making unnecessary excuses.

Japan is a homophobic country in the first place lmao, I know because I live here. Idk what made you think that random article is legit just because it's Japanese XD. As for that 'I don't like boys I just like you' trope, there's something called 'denial' which, unfortunately, many lgbtq people suffer from. It doesn't make them demi or not gay. Anyways, if by any chance, they aren't gay (though they're but IF), what does it have to do with you? Are you interested in shipping yourself with them or something?? Because I don't see why some fictional character's sexuality is even an issue in your eyes.
Because it's a bl? If not the main characters, then who'll be gay? The trees in their backyard?... I honestly…
You're making excuses that they might not be gay despite this drama being a bl and also asked 'how' the characters become gay as if a reason to be one is needed. You don't visit straight drama's comment section and ask people how the characters become straight do you? There's no how or why when it comes to sexuality, you are what you are. Reading Manhwas or watching bls doesn't make you sound any better when you're saying stuff like this. If you don't support gay people yet enjoy bls then sorry not sorry, you're fetishizing them. Simple as that.
I'm confused whether I should now add this to my completed list or on-hold or dropped, the story itself is incomplete so it just feels weird to say that I completed this drama lol.
What do you mean by low ratings? Mother actually has a good, balanced rating. It is the other films that have…
I don't actually care about the ratings, but the reason (which you can easily see in the reviews) many people are deducting them for is silly. It's supposed to be dark, you can't just watch a horror movie and then complain it was scary lol.
Because it's a bl? If not the main characters, then who'll be gay? The trees in their backyard?... I honestly…
Nah girl they ARE, I've no idea what bl series you're even watching because 'bl' literally stands for 'boys love'... As for demisexuality, I'm more than aware of it because I'm a part of the lgbtq community myself (closeted bi here) but someone can be demi and also straight or gay or anything, demisexul means being attracted to someone only after you're emotionally invested in them. And Homoerotic - don't even get me started on that shit. It's just sexual. There's no way the characters are 'Homoerotic' because it's more of a kink than a identity. Get your face out of Fanfics and read about actual lgbtq people. What are you even doing on a bl drama if you don't like gay relationships anyways? There's more than enough straight dramas out there, feel free to watch them since someone being anything but straight bothers you so much.
I know some people disliked the Amnesia trope in ep 16 but I personally think it was pretty important, because many people might assume that he didn't actually 'love' his family and was just too used to pretending to be Baek Hee Sung all this time. So it showed that even if he didn't have any memories and got a chance to live an another life, he would still go back to them because he genuinely cares about his family.
Ryu Hosun (#KangInsoo) and Choi Hwajin are set to have arranged marriage. But the bride ran way and his brother,…
Because it's a bl? If not the main characters, then who'll be gay? The trees in their backyard?... I honestly don't get your question, idk if it was your intention but it kind of sounds like you dislike that we're calling the characters gay lmao.
