And yes about the false rumors that LuSi is soft banned or blacklisted. She has received so many new brand endorsement contracts since her openness about her illness and the grace and frankness she brought her struggle public. Zhang Linghe is phenomenal in this role! While he looks a little older than some of the other cast members, he plays the role of a genius perfectly. His emotional struggle is poignant and evokes strong emotions.
I have to say the child actors are also *very* good!
Zhao Jinmai is also off the charts in this role. She is lovely but calm and soothing when the ML is trying to break the chains of being controlled by guilt and forced to live the life his deceased brother ran away from.
