I see that the rating for this drama goes lower and lower? The decrease is too fast to be normal. What happen? We are still very early in the drama (not even half). Good or bad, you still cannot say. I really hope people will not give low rate just because the drama is not their cup of tea.

Perhaps some people just found him easy target to attack since he is a person who will only take all of it in silent. Especially when he was not yet popular back then. It is so sad that he has experience online attack before and that was the cause of him withdrew from online world.

I read that about Noble Aspiration. I am planning to watch that drama anyway. So I will soon find out what that's all about. I hate it when people blaming the script for their bias failure in a drama. In a drama, those with most skilled acting, the most with presence, will always steal a spotlight, no matter how much the onscreen time.

Hahahaha!! I never thought that was his reason to hid his face like that. I know he doesn't go online much. But I hope his staff member could tell him something.

Sometimes I feel that he doesn't realized that he is that popular and his acting is that GOOD. Or perhaps he is just that humble, I don't know.

It will be the best outcome for him. His current fans that still out there defending him is his true fans. I hope he takes heart and stand tall despite all this pressure, knowing there are people out there who will always support him.

Really? The Promise of Chang An is not affected by this fiasco? What a relief!! Then I can hope there will be no change in his other drama release date, too ^_^. So happy. I am so worried that the higher up will choose to shelve his drama because of fear of backlash.

Actually, if his current drama is really not affected, then perhaps all this fiasco only looks big on the surface while in reality most people are chill about this.

I heard that Imperial Age was finished filming years ago?! I will watch for Cheng Yi part to see how his acting skill back then compared to now.

There was one poster who also admiring his hand, I forgot who. Hahahaha! I think it because his slim fingers just simply beautiful so our eyes just could not help drawn to it. Human naturally loves beautiful thing, hehe

Aaa, I see, hahahaha!! Well, even within Chinese actors, there are also a number who cannot pull that long hair and flowing robe well. Cheng Yi here just fortunately born with face and body build that enable him to look so beautiful in that get up.

I know I will sound like a freak here, but everytime the drama focused on his hand, I see that he has such beautiful long slim finger. Same with his feet finger (they showed this in one scene in The Promise of Chang An). So yea lucky him. Those body quality could not be gotten from any plastic surgery.

From my years watching chinese drama, other actors that really look beautiful in ancient grab are Li Hong Yi, Luo Yun Xi and Zhu Yi Long.

Exactly!! And I think actor is different from idol? In my understanding, pure actor usually not interacted much with their fans and focus more on acting only?! Or I am wrong .......

If you deemed that both of them are of no fault, then no one should be bullied because of that event. What I wanted to say, if people wanted to blame the actors because they wished to see their CP, then the blame should lie on both Cheng Yi and Yuan Bing Yuan. Doesn't mean I agree that people should blame them. In my opinion, the people is better of putting their anger to the company.

I also hope that this fiasco did nothing to their career and relationship. It will be tragedy.

Of course I can understand fans disappointment. But what happen right now is beyond disappointment.

I cannot say that I know who Cheng Yi truly is. My point is that his so-called fans should be more concerned than condemning, if they were truly his fans.

Exactly!! Each of those drama will bring him fans from other niche, which is very GOOD! Fans of serious drama usually much saner than that of L&R genre.

Sadly, only a few of his drama that has been released. You can try viki to watch his works in Noble Aspiration and The Lost Tomb 2 in english.

Moreover, I took a peek to multiple gift of the live concert in twitter (I am not interested in this kind of show after drama, so watching the whole 2 hours is out of question for me). And it is exactly as what @Mira Vong has said above. Cheng Yi actually was not that cold and rude to Yuan Bing Yuan. He was not chummy with her, yes and putting some distance, but nothing excessive that warranting this kind of online scolding.

And, Cheng Yi was not the only one that put an act of indifference. Yuan Bing Yuan ALSO DID IT!!! I saw it with my own eyes that she was too, refused to see Cheng Yi eye to eye. Now people demanded him to apologize to her. What .....

I have this allergy to anyone who use the "female gender" excuse to protect themselves or others. As if just because you are a woman, you are excused to do something bad with minimum repercussion.

Yuan Bing Yuan herself perhaps didn't have any connection with all this fiasco, so I have nothing against her (I know she already got her fair share of heat after that peck kiss in previous interview and some more. I, too, feel sorry for her regarding that).

But, those fans that keep on defending her just because she is a female thus more pitiful (sorry, but that's just how I see it. You can correct me if I see it wrongly), I cannot tolerate them. Nearly all negative comments that I've read mainly commenting how Cheng Yi should not treat her like that, that he should be a gentleman, bla3 which if you summarized them you will get the gist that: HE SHOULD SHOW SOME CARE FOR HER. In a nutshell, it was their core complain. They can paint it with prettier words like respect or be normal, but I digress.

The very reason why I keep on chasing this topic was because it really disturbed my core principal. We, woman, physically weaker than man so yes I am very much appreciate a gentleman act from man in regard of bodily protection. But, in regards of taking responsibility of their own conduct, there should be no difference between man and woman. Even though I am weaker physically, I don't need people to tolerate my mistake just because I am a woman. It is an insult for me.

In this live concert fiasco, blame must be put equally to both Cheng Yi and Yuan Bing Yuan. Just because she was able to put more sugar on her speech should not exempt her from the fact that she was TOO, doing the act of distancing.

So sorry for the long post. I am just so frustrated with all those insensitive comment that seems to only look from Yuan Bing Yuan point of view but not Cheng Yi.

Hmm, I know some people prefer his dramas to be released slowly (not in short sequence as in The Promise of Chang An) so to give them time to fully say goodbye to the previous drama. But, I just want they release all his drama fast so I can enjoy his work non stop, hahahaha.

Hope we won't need to wait for too long for Deep Lurk or any other that has been finished filming. I want to see at least one more drama of him before this year ends.

I am actually confused by the reaction of his so-called fans for his coldness in that event. When you idolized and liking someone, your first reaction when seeing him acts out of character like that, should be a concerned inquiry. Like, what happen, are you okay, or the like.

But no, lots of them just jump to bullying bandwagon. Thus, I am questioning their integrity. He is better off without those fans really. What I am concerned about that all of this fiasco is affecting his mentality in his work. I am sure all his co-workers knew behind the scene truth so he should not be bullied in work place. But I think this is his first time being in this kind of spotlight?! Handling such pressure is not easy. He is a stellar actor and I wait eagerly for his next craft.

Same, I am too looking forward for Meng Xing Chang An. I like Zhang Yu Xi acting as Ling Long in L&R. Looking forward seeing her there. Broken Clouds 2 still has nothing confirmed by now. I really hope the adaptation is truly realized.
