They could have cut out 70% of the participants in the first show alone. That being said, it is such a nice, positive and fun show! I expect for them to get more competitive and less nice the further along we move. For now it is kinda like band camp and even the uncut version doesn’t drag!

The evil mother-in-law expecting the poor widow to kill herself… and all of them sitting around and treating widows like dirt is so creepy. They could end up like that any day, really, their own husbands are even older! Would they enjoy ending up as shut-in or considered dead weight? Where is the empathy? It is their own future they are looking at. Or do they just hope to die before their husbands?

Definitely got creepy vibes from Mr Keng. Looks like everyone is taking advantage of Non in their own ways.

Does anyone who follows him on weibo have any updates? According to his insta, he graduated from Beijing Film Academy in May 2023. Has he found work behind the camera? His roster for upcoming projects is not very promising, unfortunately.

While I hope for more seasons to wrap things up nicely in a happily ever after, the truth is we rarely if ever see that happen. This was a cheaply produced short drama, kinda like fastfood. May it serve as HJJs comeback if nothing else!!

Promomaterial pairs 2ML with the maid, I don’t see them trying anything fancy in the remaining 11 episodes.

The FL acts so childish and immature, the way she shows up in a professional setting is nuts. Maybe the script allows her to grow up in the next 20 episodes? Right now, she is dumb arm candy.

Quite a choice to pair up young ML with older, widowed FL and young SFL with older, widowed SML. The crossed age brackets are a damper, though at least the cast is excellent and I like the story so far.

Either the kid gloves came off in Ep 2 or it really is a giant hoax and everyone will leave alive but severely traumatized.

Yeah, MDL is going to take some time to remove them. It is a bummer some people take joy in spreading their own misery- not giving them any attention works best for me.

Not into the ML lookwise but I enjoy his acting. The ensemble cast makes this a good show right now.
I am not sure about the quest for a baby- becoming a mom isn‘t the be all/end all for a woman. Why settle the FL with pregnancy and birth? I wouldn’t even tell her to get a puppy right now.

The princess would be a nice fit for the bastard son. They both want peace and love. Though I guess if her older bro dies (likely) or he ends up on a crazy quest for revenge, that might be out of the picture.
