Oh wow you heard it? I did not hea= it until I watched the drama and whew... This feeling different from what I'm used to from LYN, I was more in awe! Soo good!!

Frrrr 🤣🤣 Whenever I hear his voice, I'm like, "Yesss it's Liu Yuning!" 😭 Just when I was starting to get into historical C-dramas, his song was always in every drama I was watching, I could NOT forget his name on Spotify and always recognized his voice 😂 He srsly left a strong impression on me, and when I learnt he does acting too? Oh, you bet I was excited to watch him in dramas! 😆

Man, how are the OSTs so good? I looove how the leads also have their own! They sound BEAUTIFUL!! And don't get me started on Liu Yuning... once again the king of OSTs is back and SLAYED it! Omg, I am really amazed by how lit it is and how he can sing so well!! 😭😭

This is my 4th Cheng Lei drama (5th if you include his guest role in FoF), and his role(s) here has become my favorite. It feels more different, unique, and versatile from the others I've seen him in! And seriously, I wanna praise him bc wow... He really blows me away! I'm so happy to see even more range in his acting thru this show where we get to see him play multiple identities!!

Yeah I saw on Baidu Baike as well so that's also why I believed that it's two VAs (while it also sounds like two different as well). If you pay attention in ep 1 for instance, you will definitely be able to tell it's Ao Ruipeng's VA.

Wait... I don't think that person knows he is brothers with Beiming yet bc of her statement "I thought Beiming's twin/brother is Yesha," so maybe let's both delete our comments? Don't they reveal it a bit later from where she left off lol

I think you might be wrong on the last sentence bc I definitely hear Ao Ruipeng's voice on Cheng Lei at times (for instance the very first scene of the cp to make it easier)

That's nice to know. Yeah, I don't see any romance coming. Considering you're on that ep it doesn't look like it's going anywhere. I like that he focuses on himself and pushes romance aside!

So I really don't ship the ML with the FL at all. They really have no depth in their relationship, barely having any screentime together too. I've been worried they'd actually become a cp, but being halfway thru the drama, it seems it won't happen? In fact, I think the one he has most chemistry with is Mo Caihuan. I really love this pairing the most. But all in all, I don't care about the ML having a romance, tho I lowkey ship them and feel so sad for Caihuan.

You mean adult version of the kid? Sorry that sounded confusing lol... Anyways I finished the first ep, but so far, I have only heard Ao Ruipeng's voice I think? The other VA is Lan Zhan from The Untamed which I'm not sure if I heard yet. At times I couldn't tell tho but it sounded like the former in most (or all) scenes in ep one.

I'm not used to hearing this VA on Cheng Lei like omg it doesn't really fit him imo... All I can hear and imagine is Ao Ruipeng instead 🤣 Welp, time to get used it ig 😭 His VA in LOTFG was def so much better! But wait, he seems to have two VA? Okay, I'm just starting and am curious about it now...

Oh that's interesting... I think I'll give the first 63 eps a shot once I am done with this season~ would like to not know anything when watching the LA next season so will maybe watch eps after that!

Should've ended at ep 34 WITH NO CHU ZHAO DRAMA, THAT'S IT! After seeing Chu Zhao, I decided to skip his scenes bc I don't like where this is going... It feels too forced to see his character become like this and even the emperor, like whaaaat?? Veeery anticlimatic... I just feel like stopping after finishing ep 34 while skipping Chu Zhao's scenes but also still putting it as complete just to leave it there as a HE... I don't want more drama... 😭

Not watching this now, but man, just by skimming and Chen Feiyu's character is already giving Moran from Erha vibes... Waiting for Immortality, and we and Chen Feiyu deserve to see his portrayal of his character in this too one day 🤧

Nah, Viki doesn't have 4K either. And I'd rather not pay more. Youku is actually good enough quality for me. Thank you tho.

I just started this a few days ago and I am loving it. Like some people say, I really like how this feels like a game. I think this concept is very nice and refreshing. It's very entertaining, the drama is. So glad to finally be watching this. I see there will be a season 2 as well? Man, I will look forward to it then. Looks like we'll all have to wait for that to come out in some years 😅😭

Cheng Lisu, now played by Li Qing, the actor for Shanhu from ADWAD (I see you watched some of that so you must know him a little)~ Seems you didn't recognize him tho which I get... he gives off such a different vibe that it sometimes feels like a diff actor to me lol
