We are halfway through the drama and I’m starting to feel so bored. I literally pressed play on the last 2 episodes…
Dang you're kidding me... I haven't even started on the next episodes and we're still not getting their screentime? I was looking forward to it for the next ep bc of that preview ughh such wasted potential 😭
And you're right... It's been getting boring and draggy... Like after the incident in Eastern Country, we've not been getting screentime in Eastern Country and what Ben and Sasin are dealing with over there which is such a bummer...
Tbh, this drama is dragging for me for the last 10 eps or so (I don't remember when it started but it was after everything that happened in Eastern Country) that I've decided to watch at 1.25x at times. We barely got any Benjamin and Sasin scenes, like I wished they could balance it out throughout the episodes. As a military drama, I wanted to see more of that. To see what's also happening in Eastern Country and see what they're doing, how they're helping the people, and how they overcome the obstacles, but we aren't seeing enough of that. It looks like next episode will be interesting tho, so I look forward to it!
Lol wait I just found out that Omid plays a character named Yichen and I can't help but think of Tian Jiarui in Fangs of Fortune now... esp that Omid even played in that drama... dang okay Btw y'all know when this is likely to air? I thought this month but is it likely changed?
Can someone please tell me WU SHAN played by actor QUAN YI LUN,what that character was,I'm very bad at remembering…
He's the character that liked the FL in the beginning and really wanted to be with her but we don't see him later on in the drama where he leaves to go somewhere (don't exactly remember where). I remember seeing him in MM and when I noticed it was him I was totally mesmerized by his beauty!
So Li Zan's dad lives in Jiangcheng? That time when Li Zan said, "I'm going to Jiangcheng to see dad." Dang how I wished he was actually going to Jiang Cheng! Sorry, I had to say it~ If you know, you know 🫣😔 Man am I missing Jiang Lin a lot 😭
yeah so ppl on weibo and xhs are saying that the new acc is fake, iqiyi has given up on it and theres no copyright…
Then what about the announcement they made a few days ago about it? That's gotta be a sign it's coming one day, right? I can't have this not air, I've been waiting and anticipating on this one a lot 😭🙏
Is this Deng Wei's voice? I listened to his voice b4 but I'm not super used to it yet. But he sounds so nice and natural. I think it might be his real voice tho, right? If so, this would be the first drama of his I watch without himself being dubbed by someone else which is refreshing!
bro this was such a huge spoiler to me like i did have a thought that maybe he didnt die and is being treated…
It's too early to say I saved you bc... I mean, we don't know yet how they'll do it here OOF 🥲
Tbh he might be my favorite character, so him being dead would break my heart a lot 😭💔 Plus it's too early and he seems to be a big role, so we gotta just hope they give us a plot twist that he's alive in the drama 🫂🙏
I'm so worried for Jiang Lin... I've been thinking about him as I watch the episodes full of worry... Gosh, just watching the recent episodes breaks my heart so much! He can't just leave us this early... We're not even halfway yet... And seeing A Zan whenever he thinks about him... I can't anymore 😭💔
But as I'm writing this, I just found out that in the novel he doesn't die, so Imma just hold onto the hope he's alive! Pleaseeee I'm begging they don't change his ending! 😢🙏
Haha yes, she endured a lot to do that. I really have to applaud her for it. And I'd say the same for Yichen~ After all, he didn't want to kill Yuanzhou anymore but fate was so cruel to them that he had to, and so he couldn't live to do it without extracting his soul and even went to search thru every mountain and sea to try finding him hehe~
Lol I remember that and it made me so sad! Tho I can understand some of their feelings, especially Wen Xiao and Yichen. But still, it made me feel so sad for Yuanzhou.
Let's take Wen Xiao. Her master was killed by him even tho he didn't mean it. So to me, it was surprising how quickly she forgave him after she learnt the truth (but I think depending on the scenario it kind of makes sense ig?). But it's understandable how she feels. After all, Zhao Wan'er was her master whom she loved dearly.
And it's also really understandable for Yichen bc his father and brother were killed, which he's been enduring for 8 years. I can't even imagine if I were in his shoes. I also would be having conflicting emotions. His feelings are very real and realistic. Yet, despite that, he was the only one that went up to him after the blood moon situation. His situation is the hardest but he was still filled with kindness by doing that, which I find so touching and sad (dang, when I see that scene again, it makes me emotional 😭). And I like to think of Yichen throwing his cloak to him as a hug gesture. You can tell thru this that he still cared about Yuanzhou. This was the moment he also started to truly feel for him. I love this scene a lot 🥺
But ughhh why we didn't get any Yuanzhou and Yichen hugs at all? After all they went thru, they needed a hug with each other (and I'm 100% sure we would've seen it if we could) 😭 Like tbh, it feels weird to not get any hugs between them (so I blame censorship 😒)... At least we got lots of hugs BTS ig tho LOL 😂
Edit: I also want to add Ying Lei. His grandfather literally passed away that same day. He was really strong for someone who experienced such a heartbreaking moment. I totally understand him. In the end, he's a character that stood out to me because of how loving and caring he is towards his friends. I'm not sure why they left him out sometimes, I blame the director / screenwriters. Yet he was always there, helping them through troubles.
And ofc, Yuanzhou. I feel so sorry for him for everything that happened because of him, but it's not his fault because rather, it's the malicious energy's fault, which Yichen came to understand later on, which I find really touching. Being in their shoes, I think in reality it would be difficult. They are very strong. And it's touching to see how they've come to understand him and stay by his side. He isn't alone anymore because now he's got friends who got his back, like Yuanzhou and Wen Xiao said about Yichen as well.
They threw Dudu’s WenXiao script out the window after her epicness in episode one. 🤣 Her character WenXiao…
Okay, I love that you said this! Thank you for that short explanation~ Definitely needed that to clear all my cluttered thoughts xD It makes a lot more sense now!
