Never trust the MDL ratings. There are groups and individuals with multiple accounts. They use it to destroy the ratings of a show if they don't like it.
It's also cool to see what the work environment is in a place surrounded by rural towns, especially in SoKor.

I can't believe there are companies who goes all the way to assigning your "lunch buddies". In the Philippines, it ends in break scheduling, whoever you want to eat lunch with is your freedom of choice.
It's very rare to see a TV series about real rural life. How slow it is, how neighbourhood work is pretty much the same day in and day out, the travel distance and when you don't make it in time for the one lone service, you'll have to walk.
It's a simple life. Probably boring for most, and too repetitive. But for me, as someone who was born, grew up, lived, worked, in a highly urbanized region, it's a life I want to spend the rest of life in.

I think it was episode 5 or 6, after she was captured and under drugs. Eo Jin asked her a lot of things, in one the Ghost answered "time doesn't flow" and Eo Jin reacted as if he understood the ramifications of her revelations.
After that, the series moved on and did not expound on it further.
So, for now, we're stuck with real-world theories based on that very concept "time doesn't flow".
Hopefully, in the last two episodes it will be revealed.

1. The ML is the son of Dr. Kwon, the first one to die in May 1997 when the Ghost appeared.
- It is not yet clear why Dr. Kwon needs to die, however, the ML also realised that no matter what, his father will always die on that day of May 1997, otherwise the Grid won't be installed.
- The ML, as of episode 8, accepted that his father dying is a "fixed time" for the Grid to exist. Again, this is not clear yet why there is a trade-off like that. But one thing is for sure now, the Grid exists _not only_ because of the Ghost but also because Dr. Kwon has to die.
2. Man Ok, the murderer, is the son of the janitor who the Ghost burnt.
- If she doesn't kill Man Ok's father, for some not-yet-revealed reason, the Ghost disappears "as a time traveler" (we do not know yet if she is not born or her life's path changes).
- As far as the Ghost is concerned, she needs to exist as a time traveler for the Grid to exist, and for that to happen, she needs to kill Man Ok's father (the janitor).

They never explained that but the girl probably thought of her as an angel (reaper or not) and was more than grateful that she kept quiet about it.
In any case, no one would believe them so they'll keep quiet about it. Even if they create a club or something, they'll just be dismissed as nutheads.
The one time they did reveal is that girl who jumped from the roof and the FL teleported to catch her.
It was never explained if she remembers or she simply considered her a "guardian angel".
In any case, it is against the rules to reveal who they actually are. This is why when they are on a suicide case, they pretend to be living humans, even take on "jobs" so no one would suspect them and they can get near their target.
Maybe that will change in the next episodes, especially with the ML being unpredictable … sooner or later their identities will be exposed.

It was again proven in episode 8 when the ML returned to May 18, 1997 again and noticed how all things changed -- for example, the Ghost pulled his father's body inside the room -- that was not the original. The janitor taking his child out immediately instead of "checking" the corridors first -- if the ML did not intervene, the janitor and kid would've left the building earlier and the Ghost would, again, disappear because without the Grid, there is no time traveling Ghost.
The founder of Grid is the Ghost or Dr. Kwon, Sae Ha's father??
The creator of the Grist is the Ghost, there is no doubt about that.
However, in the new reality, it was probably posthumously credited to ML's father in 2005 out-of-respect to his mother who the harassed and stalked since the incident in 1997.
That harassment/stalking did not happen in the first reality, so there was no reason to incorrectly credit The Grid to someone else.
It was not because they have to "hide" it. In the first reality, the public doesn't know anything about the Ghost, all they know was the Grid was created by all the rich nations of the world.
