If you like non-toxic I highly recommend Heartbeat Deviation (also a vertically filmed drama). It's a heartwarming and realistically grown romance with a fantastic lead couple. It has a slow burn feel but with many butterfly-inducing moments, and was very satisfying. 7.5/10 A vertically filmed micro drama (I rate these on their own sliding scale).
Good for one watch. The lead actors are fantastic with good chemistry, and the gently blooming romance is very sweet. Both lead characters are smart, moral, competent, strong, and likeable. The ML also gives the FL the benefit of the doubt from the beginning, yay! The kids aren't written like real children of any age, let alone 5 years old, but overall the family dynamic is adorable. The basic plot is a frequently used one, but the production does adjust some things so it's mostly enjoyable (there is a typical deranged SFL and I'm just getting so tired of those, lol). I did fast-forward through some of the scheming side characters. The ending feels a bit rushed but is cute.
I'm not great at synopsis summaries, but I'll give it a go: ML is drugged at a hotel, FL goes to sleep with someone to save her mother but enters the wrong dark room, after she leaves the SFL slips into place and pretends to be the one the ML took advantage of to make him be "responsible" for her. 5 years later, the FL comes back to China with twins. She and the ML start running into each other, then working together, and grow feelings for each other. Neither of them recognize the other from before, but everyone notices there's this kid that looks an aweful lot like the CEO...

Definitely. Taishin's worries about others finding him annoying was really realistic for a neurodivergent who has difficulty reading other people, and it's sadly warrented given how many viewers had little patience for trying to understand him.
I'm going to have to reduce reading up on all the comments because there's so much vitriol aimed at Taishin; it's rather depressing to see such strong intolerance for a character that's different than many are familiar with.
(Reposting to spread awareness) To me, Taishin was obviously neurodivergent, not just "a country bumpkin" or stupidly naive. Taishin exhibited many autistic traits (listed below) and was a great representation of a neurodivergent mind. The screenplay doesn't point it out or discuss it though, so I can understand why this is missed by those who are unfamiliar with it.
The way Taishin follows, approaches, and interacts with Takara makes sense when viewed as Takara becoming a special interest for him (a rough definition of special interest is a long-term fascination). Taishin is candid and straightforward and divulges more than most people would in situations (not having much sense of filtering), doesn't have a good sense of boundaries, has great confusion about dynamics between people and with romantic feelings, difficulty naming or categorizing his own feelings, has difficulty regulating emotions and crying when both sad and happy, mentally overwhelmed easily, slower thought and speech patterns, spinning thoughts, unable to discern hidden or false intentions, has special interests of birds and plants (knowing lots of names and facts about them), and his pet bird was as important as a family member.
