Thanks for the recommendations I will add the ones not already on my list. I had thought Swallow the Sun was an action thriller I'm very glad to see it has romance too :)

Firstly please do not condescend to me by calling me sweetheart. Other than that I don't find your words harsh at all, they are your views and you are entitled to them.

Secondly I have seen this actor in previous dramas Harvest Villa/Brain & he looks different now. I am not questioning his acting ability at all.

I really hate when actors get plastic surgery, and if its noticeable enough it detracts from their acting performance, for me anyway. I felt even more strongly about Kang Moon Young in Arang and the Magistrate and said as much about her too.

Also I am watching Giant right now (which is a magnificent drama btw) and the main actor in that is Lee Beom Soo, he is not "a cute Korean oppa" as you put it but his face looks natural to me.

Im so glad you liked Reply I did tell you it takes a few eps to warm up & then it just sucks you in. I loved SIG too. This drama had so many little memorable/touching scenes definitely one of my all time favourites.

I am sure you will like Smile You too the cast of characters are so funny they will keep you entertained. There were a few eps half way through where one persons actions made me really angry & annoyed me to death lol other than that I loved it.

Im watching Giant which is a wonderful sweeping epic drama. Its starts off in the 1970s I am really enjoying it I have seen 25 eps so far :)

I really wanted to watch this for Lee Min Jung but the lead guy is such a turn off... his face looks like hes had plastic surgery thats gone wrong. Why are Koreans so obsessed with going under the knife? I would prefer a plain natural looking guy anyday.

She is adorable...loved her acting (& singing)in Giant.

Sometimes an ugly guy can be rendered attractive if he has charisma or acts well. In Hana kimi OS was just dull & emotionless so I shall reserve judgment for now. I haven't seen RMPW I saw first 5 mins of it (cos alot of people in MDL were raving about it when it was airing) I saw OS smile & it just put me off lol

And yeah I will watch Addicted I have heard good things about it.

Haha this is where our shared interests depart quite drastically I saw Oguri in Hana Kimi (which I didn't really like incidentally) & he is extremely unattractive to my eyes. I generally think Korean guys are hotter than Japanese but there are still quite a few J actors I like e.g. Yamapi, Sato Takeru, Kimura Takuya, Takeshi Kaneshiro,
Takenouchi Yutaka, Kame etc. but Oguri just NO, NEVER :p

LBH was my first introduction to a Korean language film/drama (The Good The Bad The Weird) & I was hooked. I have seen a few films/dramas. I have 2 on DVD which I have yet to watch All In & Addicted :)

Although eye candy isn't the only thing that makes me want to watch a drama/film in a romcom its a given that the male lead should be attractive to your eyes & I just cant fancy Cha Seung Won lol

I started watching about 2 years ago, I haven't been working so that means I have plenty of time on my hands. Once I start working I will probably only be able to watch on weekends :(

lol maybe I was too harsh with the six for TGL. It did have laugh out loud funny moments but I dunno the leads just didn't do it for me. Under MDL categorisation 6 = fine so its still ok just didn't blow my socks off.

And I'm still looking for that dream job too...sigh
