That seems more sad than anything. Without the token, she can't carry out her duties, because she doesn't have any powers of her own. So she ends up with a longer lifespan, but she's basically useless as a Goddess. That's a painful life.

That does make sense, however the Baize token at that point in time is broken and without it, she doesn't have any power.
So are we to assume that even without the token, she retains her longer lifespan? Logically, her longer lifespan is a gift given to the Baize Goddess to help maintain order in the Wilderness. It's given to her by the power of the Baize token. If she no longer has the token/the token is broken, she should no longer have any powers associated with the token right?

I may be overthinking.

Not sure if this is a plot hole or has an actual explanation. I'm on episode 22 now and Wen Xiao went into the sun dial to have the tree grow for 300 years, so they can have a branch to fix the broken Baize token. This is supposedly possible, because time flows differently in the sun dial and 300 years there is merely hours in the real world. Makes sense so far. What doesn't make sense is that the tree can grow, but Wen Xiao doesn't age. She's not immortal, so she's subject to time. If the tree can grow and change, shouldn't she also age and die in those 300 years?

If this is a plot hole, it could have been easily solved by having Ying Lei go instead. 300 years for him wouldn't make much of a physical difference.

If there is an explanation, I would like to know.

It's on may list after I finish FOF. At the rate I'm going, I'll probably start Blossom on Friday.

I think it's a bit too late to have no expectations now. I heard too much praise for this drama. Although, high expectation rarely ruin a drama for me. Especially if the praise is deserved.

I'm really looking forward to Blossom.

If I have to pick a cute one it would be LGIEF. Miao Miao and Mu Zi Qi are adorable.

While Fateful Love wasn't a great drama, I liked the relationship of the main leads. Han Zi Qing and Jun Bei Yue are both very capable and are both equals in the relationship.

Given the premise of this drama, I was fully prepared for the fact that there will be plenty of sad and emotional scenes. Somehow I was still not prepared for episode 17. I feel like it's a turning point in the drama and more sadness is going to follow.

I forgot I put The Judge from Hell on my list. I was actually looking forward to it and then it just got lost among the hundreds of dramas already on it.

I'll watch it after FOF and Blossom then.

Love of Nirvana is on my list as well. How is the story?

Most of the cast of FOF ended up with faces much whiter than their original complexion. It's sometimes very obvious, because it wasn't always as well blended. You can clearly see it in some scenes. Unfortunately, FOF is not the only drama where this has happened.
