I also loved the music. It's definitely visually pleasing and the leads have a good chemistry. I wouldn't call the plot bland, but it's definitely not as dramatic as most xianxia dramas.

There's something very gentle and heartwarming about that movie, because the relationship at the core of it is the gentle and touching one.

19. The two leads do silly really well. It was perfect for this drama.

TTEOTM has been turned into a yearly rewatch for me, so next year that's definitely a drama I'll rewatch. Seeing as it's emotionally draining, I also definitely need a silly, funny drama to watch after that to cheer me up. Maybe LGIEF can fill that void.

I laughed a lot with The Legend of Shen Li and LGIEF.

There were some moments in The Double that made me sad. The Legend of Shen Li came really close to making me cry. The drama that actually managed to make me cry is LYF though.

Hmmm.... Out of the dramas I've watched this year I suppose at some point in the future I'd like to rewatch The Legend of Shen Li and LGIEF. Possibly The Double. Parts of LYF. I would like to watch some other dramas on my watchlist first though.

I'm putting this one on my list. I need a laugh.

I have really been looking forward to this one. I'm currently on episode 6 and I'm really enjoying this drama. I have to admit I'm glad I waited till all the episodes were out. I can watch at my own pace.

Ding Yuxi first impressed me in The Romance of Tiger and Rose. He has a very expressive face. LGIEF is a really cute drama

Did you watch the extra episode? With the extra episode it's clear it's a happy ending. I wouldn't have minded it either way, but it was cute to see their life without the pressures that they felt during the drama.

15. The plot was definitely well paced. It was visually stunning too and the cast did a great job portraying their characters, even though most of them were definitely too old for their roles and it was really noticeable during the "school" arc. Luckily it stopped mattering after that when they got to the serious storylines.

Good to know. I'm not the most patient when it comes to waiting for episodes to air. I started FOF instead. That should be enough episodes until Blossom finishes airing.

Eternal Love was also the first Xianxia I watched and will obviously forever have a special place in my heart. That's also the reason why I also always check out Yang Mi's dramas, because I really liked her in Eternal Love.

I was really looking forward to this Fox Spirit Matchmaker, but all the bad reviews have kept me from checking it out. I'm still tempted to watch a few episodes myself to form my own opinion though.

I was supposed to start Blossom after finishing LYF, but as it hasn't finished airing yet, I'm going to wait for all the episode to come out.

15. A 2024 Drama that grew on you with time

Out if all the things I watched, I'd say it was The Double. I ended up really loving it, but it wasn't right from the start like with most of the other dramas I watched this year.

It's definitely one of my favourites as well.
