They seemed to suddenly show the gay storylines--but now that I'm writing to you, I realize this was included because I think one was a brother of the Jung family? It seemed like the Jung siblings (main characters) now found out their court minister father is evil? I'm not sure what's going on with the 3 sisters getting married anymore. I may have conked out and plan of rewatching the last two epis to see if I missed some things. On the other hand, I also think I conked out because I no longer was following or cared about what was going on within the plot.

I didn't think what Shin Hye Sun's character said was abusive--it was realistic! She was kind, IMO, considering what Bang Eun Joo [3moon Studio’s assistant] did to her--including what I believe is her faked suicide attempt/misery show in order to get publicity and attack her mentor.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to follow the thread of this drama anymore. I usually don't like saeguks much since they're always about ousting someone royal thanks to evil ministers or monster relatives, but I was liking this one...till I got lost. Am I the only one who can't follow much of the plot?

I don't think Ha Rim cherishes what a wonderful, caring, giving person she has found in Ricky. I think he can do better, but he'll have to face heartbreak before realizing he's wonderful/ she isn't!

Too many relationships which I found to be unpleasant where the men seemed to be duped by a woman

I just started watching the finale and find, as usual, Yeon Doo made a unilateral decision and proclamation without even discussing it with her husband. I know it's supposed to be heartwarming that they'll be relocating to the family annex again, but I feel like she still hasn't learned her lesson in learning not to decide what's best for Tae Kyung, herself, and their child all by herself. I find it quite unacceptable and inappropriate. :-(

I really enjoyed epi 1, but can't help feeling Kim Ga Eun should always be the FL when she's in a drama. She just shines with charisma onscreen.

Right! For me, it's turning into the usual ministers and their minions trying to oust the king. The fun is gone.

If they take me all the way to epi 14, I think I can expect they'll finish the series if it's only 2 more epis. It's not like I'm a freeloader and want to go to illegal sites. I pay for a Viki subscription and Kocowa plus Netflix.

Okay--IDK about you, but I'm pissed! I got to epi 14, was set to watch 15 & 16 and got told I have to upgrade to Viki Pass Plus to finish the series! I dropped VPP because I also subscribe to Kocowa so was doubling up on paying for shows. This situation really ticks me off no end. It's enough to make me never want to upgrade to VPP! It feels like a dirty trick.

It was so great to watch a drama without revenge and selfish avarice at its core. Where kindness, compassion, not greed, is celebrated and rewarded.

This drama is pretty good, however, it's very slow-moving and feels draggy--kind of like they're playing out the clock instead of bringing dynamic plot advancements. That's how I'm feeling...

I'm having a hard time getting past her voice, which I find super-annoying, and her general immaturity. May have to drop it.
