I would have liked to have seen San San and Gu Xiao patch it up more concretely than what was depicted--they were cute and could have lightened up parental-daughter relationship scenes which felt maudlin in the last 2 epis.

This series feels akin to Reply 1988 (the only one of the series I've watched), but the FL seems to be trying to so hard to be cute and outrageous, she's ruining it for me.

You would think, Gun is handsome (not to mention gainfully employed now) and would have ladies falling all over him. He gave obnoxious Se Ra a speech about pride yet he demeans himself repeatedly by rescuing her and getting rejected time-and-time again. A FB discussion friend says, "I need him to stop playing Captain Save a Ho. She's not worth it!" I thought that comment was ho-larious!

I guess I'm one of the few who also couldn't continue on with Sky Castle--so that sums aigoo-wimpy me up! LOL

I really hate the theme of school bullying and parents manipulating, exploiting, and using every form of corruption to further their kids' educational performance and opportunities. I don't think I can continue on with this one. It's just too stressful and infuriating. It would help if the FL was a bit more animated and responsive, but since she isn't so far...

Midnight Diner - there are a few different ones. You can find the Japanese version on Netflix. I think 2 are currently available. There's also a Korean version called Late Night Diner. They will all come up with info if you use Midnight Diner in the above search box. HTH

I'm watching, but our teacher is so dense, it's starting to get on my nerves. How long before she wises up that men are really attracted to her? I'll be watching epi 5 next.

Most adorable FL-- the Audrey Hepburn of Korea. Cutest couple. Solid 10 for me. Loved it.

That final epi ending was so obviously scripted. :-(

He continuously griped about how long every process was taking all throughout epi 1. I thought it was rude and arrogant both toward Mr. Paik and the participating beginners who obviously required that every instruction and attempt be broken down bit by bit.

The only part of the storyline I really liked was the revelation at the end that the FL's bff apparently was the author of the comic and changed the ending by adding more.

I'd say it's way too hard on the heart to binge. It's sad, poignant, suspenseful (but not in a scary way), and beautiful re family and relationships. IU deserved the equivalent of an Oscar for her performance. She is a miracle in it. I thought she (and the drama itself) was phenomenal.

Only up to epi 4 so far, but this charming, brief series definitely has Midnight Diner vibes.

I thought this series was lighthearted and fun, but then they quit showing first date meetups in each epi, and there was no follow up to see if any of the couples clicked later on. The show ended abruptly which I found to be disappointing.

Thanks. I saw epi 1 and then never saw another update to it.
