Yesss, it was clear he was touched by Adachi's words. Come to think of it, Kurosawa rarely expresses himself out loud and usually keeps to himself, most of what we knew of his feelings was either through body language or the times Adachi read his mind and Machida is nailing every detail with his acting. This drama is a true lesson of "show don't tell" and I love it!
