Maybe the dramas aired very closely to each other and people compare. C dramas and K dramas are a comparison hell.. they compare everything even when the dramas have completed! Ahaha we just let it go and enjoy the drama. I am really enjoying the old souls in young bodies.. so far they both seem to have nailed it pretty well :) Familiar and yet distant, still have yearning and yet pride is also abound.

Yeah this one has much potential to be screwed up in the middle or the end... but hopefully with the novel's guidance, they dont mess it up!!

WOOHOO episode 8 and they cleared things up nicely already. Already said they liked each other previously! Nice! And better she said to the effect "I am such an incredible woman, why do you expect me to wait for you". What a badass princess! And yet without that arrogance but just pure confidence :) executed well.

Yeah it depends on how they play out... the novel does have a fair amount of material but I dont want them to be dragging out bits for no reason or worse create things out of nothin to fill the time.

Depends on what you mean. But yes they opened up fairly quickly (Episode 3 or 4) and then they move on from their past and start a new "relationship alliance" together. It was a happy ending with some twists in the middle but nothing too angst driven. It was clear after they cleared up the "you killed me last time" that they both cared for each other.

Actually I feel that about a lot of couples/CPs in many dramas, it is rarer that there is great CP between the leads and hence when it happens, fans tend to be rabid and rave about it.

If they follow the novel, then it should be a happy ending.

Well she thought he killed her.. plus she is a princess afterall so the outrage of "I am a princess and he killed me! How dare he" comes out :P

According to the novel (if i remember correctly, they had 2 kids or was it 1, but they definitely had kids) and they keep arguing with each other about getting a divorce but never succeeding. Each time they fight, they bring it up and then there is some excuse not to so they never get round to divorcing each other.

Seems to be heavy on politics and I liked they cleared up the past early and we dont spend an eon dwelling in the past and so far following the novel... not bad for a start :)

Possibly The princess royal. I think.. I am also kinda of watching the Wuxia one, the legend of heroes. But I prefer the previous make of it so far :)
