Yes they both can act. Actually I think all the actors/actresses did very well in this drama...soo good scripts and directors as well as producers probably do a lot for a drama. Considering that the novel was fairly straight forward and short compared to some others.

Agree especially considering before that he didn't feel anything for the 3 realms or even his own "boring" life which just means he needs to be there for them but to what purpose. Shen Li on the other hand protected him instead and even gave up half of her cultivation for him.
