In weibo, I think there were comments made about the cave scene and some unpleasant comments about it being too "sexy" and directed at Liying but I am not sure either of the exact details. I woke up to the rage of fans of the drama and both stars calling out Yang zi fans for their nonsense. If you have weibo, you can check it out. Some are even asking Liying's office to take action or sue for the comments. But as Kar pointed out.. eh.. C drama fans are a bit much at times...

Eh Although I am a Li Ying fan, I think there is no need to spread rumours, you can prefer and support for sure. But agree.. it seems Yangzi fans like to create problems or some of them.... a lot of the comments in weibo hints that they make a lot of trouble for fandoms... I think she was ok in Ashes of love.. but there are plenty of good actresses with good dramas... comparing is just silly. But I get it.... I previously watched some BL taiwanese drama and the C fans.. OMG.... roll eyes..... and they were SUPPORTING the drama and both the stars.. but .... the chaos!

I think he is just so afraid he would lose her again, plus maybe he thinks its a problem he needs to fix.. I mean the dude is just soo insecure about losing her... plus it doesnt help that she went all aloof right after intimacy back to business. I think it is also clear in the novel, she could leave, except she might end up hurting him so she didn't try.

For sure. And they are saying all the fans of the drama are aligned this time and yet 'outsiders' are trying to create problems.

Apparently yang zi's fans have created a ruckus and said some comments and rumours Abt the actors. Does anyone know the detail?. They are being 'scolded by liying and the drama's fans' but I haven't figured out what actually happened.

Also the ratings hit the roof .. considering there are various platforms showing it and diverting the full ratings. So it's a good showing for our beloved drama so far. So happy for them and their hard work!

I like how they wove in the story of jin niang's lover. I think the novel presented it as a separate arc (pls correct me if I am wrong) so I think it's neatly done. Sets up the future if they film that much.

Ok.. its nice that shenli is back to being badass but my poor XZ .... suffering now...... being hurt and all and still having to shoulder all that responsibility. Agree. The fight scenes in this drama seem so balanced. Dramatic but not so faked out like many others. And so fitting in general.

Babe trust me I loved how LGX looked .... perfect for the role and perfect. But eh.. yah most of the leads are all waffle thin.... I have stopped watching a few just because I couldnt take the leads....
