Exactly...I know they look better onscreen being thin and they get panned if they get "fat" but chinese standards are too much.... they are so waffle thin sometimes they can barely carry the actresses... SIGH..and they look like they might break on the kungfu machines... Then again K idols are not that much bulkier.... (we only seem to get that with western films)

I think in the novel he was desperate to make sure her treatment continued. He wanted to do what jin did. But I think they didn't want to upset censors or just adapted it. I think they were unkind of unclothed in the novel too (if my memory is correct)
Are they showing different versions to international and domestic audiences for the scenes.. I recall in some dramas they cut out the intimate scenes or some scenes for the domestic audiences but kept the full version for the international wetv audience..... if so, I sure hope its to our benefit!!
I love the teaser for episode 31 too.. he is so proud of her. He is so confident and in awe of her power and strength.... sigh such a GOD, compared with FRJ who is (now also in awe) but was initially overwhelmed by her strength and power

I don't think he is wise in the realm of feelings and physical attraction ahhahhaha ... come to think of it.. I was surprised that he even knew what to do in the novel... maybe that's why it was Shen Li that initiated.... otherwise as Mdm Jin said... he just cannot make it happen.... I mean the dude shows affection by taking care of her...and is truly happy just being with her and holding her hand.... Plus he took care of her toileting needs... Most normal dudes would have made some moves earlier.. but not our XZ. Which would really be just like him.

same.. I dont like xian xia in general except for one or 2 exceptions but I think this one is really fantastic.. and its a bit light hearted... different from the usual. Especially the use of CGI doesnt appear too "faked" and seems most coherent with the storyline and characters.
I loved the feeding fish bit. SL left slip that his cooking is the best in the world and so he knew she knew. It's funny how he wants to take care of her but gets upset she is ordering him around so carefreely as well. Hahah
