Haven't started Park's Marriage Contract yet but this family is pretty bad. I have to say probably the worst family in airing dramas is the FLs in Perfect Marriage Revenge though

They showed the same lighter in the gloved hand in one of the "ominous" scenes that he was about to light up in the greenhouse with. Not saying that is proof but they definitely implied he is shady at the very least

just finished ep 3. What did the family expect really? Do Hee is the only one she showed any affection towards lol it was obvious that she was going to inherit in my eyes

I've seen A LOT of hate for this show which doesn't make sense. I mean it's not going to win Drama of the Year or anything but the story, visuals and humor are pretty good. So far, it's a better drama than quite a few of the ones that came out this year I have watched and didn't receive this much hate

All very true, however, she had to do more than just that because prior to her arrival when kiyoka was fighting his second in command (forget his name), kiyokas sword cut his neck and he bled, whereas afterwards it "cut" the insects out leaving the body perfectly fine. I wish they at least touched upon what she did more.

The only thing I can think of is, she has powers over the gifted. All of those soldiers were gifted prior to being infected. So maybe she tapped into their original selves somehow which affected the insects inside them? I don't know how, just my theory

Yeah its baffling that she isn't bigger imo. She has the visuals voice and acting ability that should put her in the top tier of actresses honestly. She conveys sooo much just in her facial features during conversations that she almost doesn't even need lines

So far it has been amazing tbh. If you like/don't mind over the top makjang style shows I highly recommend this one. There really hasn't been a dull moment yet through the first 11 episodes and between the teaser and what other commenters have said about the webtoon the finale is on track to be just as good.

But, to be fair, tomorrow is the finale so at this point if you want to wait 1 more day to see the reactions to the finale before starting it makes perfect sense. Unless you binge all 11 in the next ~15 hours its not like you'll have a wait if you start now or tomorrow

I personally thought she was pretty even with the hair. I do wonder why she had it dyed though, because all the promotional pictures of her in the show she still had black hair, which she never had in the show. (meaning the ZGDX posters they hang on stage and stuff.) I can see how her hair color could be off putting though

Yeah it was well done. Made him a truly terrible and easy to hate character. And I think I know who you're talking about in the UK. Happened recently-ish right? Kid that was invading houses and stuff?

No problem. Only advice I have for this show is if you don't like ep 1.... at least watch ep 2. It changes drastically in a good way

it happens about 3/4 of the way through ep 1. Up to 11 (haven't watched it yet) there's only subtle-ish hints that it ever even happened. It's a big part of the story but it isn't if that makes sense. More like docile girl that gets reborn decides to take no shit any more after the rebirth

Got ya. I did miss her saying cut them apparently but did see him cutting them lol. Still liked the movie but that part is kind of weird to me especially since the scene before her grandfather basically told her they were powerless against the grotesqueries

I didn't doubt you lol I just meant that what has been shown in the drama would make that a really weird way to wrap up his character. I get becoming a confidant to bring her down from the inside and the painting thing was kind of hinted at I was just leaning more towards the FL being a childhood friend part. There has been 0 indication about that even to us viewers.

Maybe if they did something (not as in depth ofc) like WWWSK where the viewers could piece together that they knew each other as kids even if she didn't it would work

Full story was completed but they left it in a way where a season 2 is possible.

It was really good I just must have missed something at the end. What did she do/what happened to make all the insect infected soldiers revert back to normal?
