Ling was less creepier than season 1 and Xia Lin wasn't expressionless this time. It was entirely better imo. At least we have more looks on Chu Yan and his girl, Ruan Meng (tho I thought they could have done better) but overall, I'm satisfied. Jia Fei and Wen Li were cute, as usual.
In conclusion, it is a ball of cringeness, turns out better and this is quite a stand alone. You don't have to watch the 1st season. You can rewatch it multiple times too.

Ming Dao nailed both characters very well (and he was so fine, I love his manly features, thanks). Shan Jun Hao was dreamy and arrogant (I love his arrogancy tho), yet Dang Ou was so lovely & delicate & everyone's pet (we stan!). Joe Chen is like another Gong Hyo Jin, the queen of rom-com! I love her in this, no doubt. In addition, their chemistry was a top-notch (we stan!)
Ost lmao. I like the songs tho I still couldn't get over the main song's music video LOL what do you expect from early 00s?
Overall, I will never get bored of this light drama!

Friendship × Romance
I'm not a fan of youth, high school, teen romance. But Sixteen Syndrome carries more than the classic high school romance trope. As the story flows, romance does not matter as much as the dynamic of the characters' friendship.I personally think it is a well-written teen drama. A pack of minimal angst of youths' emotions is well served in just 8 episodes. I wish they were longer and more developed with their parents and peers. It has the vibe which a South Korea screenwriter would choose to write a more depth elaboration (read : a remake).
The characters are amazing. I enjoy the growth of Mei and Ibuki. Asada has been great tho I could put less care on the romance between him and Ibuki. I wish (again) we can see more on Sakurai. I love their interaction as friends. It is wholesome to see 4 of them on screen.
I like the sounds too. The opening was great and closing felt very underground and dark.
Overall, I enjoy the friendship and growth of youth themes carried by Sixteen Syndrome. It is short yet meaningful. It has the potential to be a complete well elaborated drama but this is jdrama anyway; organized and packed with important scenes.

Literally nani tf
The show has 2 chapters. It started really great, I was hooked and ready to recommend it to others. It has a strong interesting premise but things got batshit crazy during chapter 2. Did the screenwriter lose ideas? Or is it really meant for a parody show?I stay for the acting performances. They are a team of good actors. Tanaka Kei and Yamada Yuki are versatile. I have known them from their previous works. Yamada Yuki never fails to deliver his crazy character. I enjoyed watching him being extra and all-out. In addition, the kids were immensely great too.
People may have different opinions on this. Some might be liking it and I was in the between. Neither I like nor dislike. It is just quite disappointing because I put an expectation and anticipated it.

A dynamic of two professions
A school cop system? It is an interesting system to be introduced in education. However, Asamura is right on it shall not be implemented. But to create a safe school's environment to the students is a long journey. The story began with Shimada Ryuhei assigning himself to be a school cop in a middle school. Little did we know, the school held some unsettling secrets that have been left buried. Ryuhei is a police with integrity, although he could be a bit emotional while handling the cases. One by one, he slowly revealed the truth behind everything.
Overall, I love Ryuhei's straightforward character. He could snap and knock some realistic senses to the teachers, students, parents and the fault systems. He gave better life lessons than the teachers to the involved parties. On another note, Asamura tried her best to be a good teacher which I understood but again, Ryuhei saw things more clearly. I like his words on them being slaves to the rewarding job (teaching).
I also like the relatable stories among the students. The dedication of the teachers, parents' decisions on their children's future, abandonment, etc. They indeed reflect the reality of life. I learnt a lot from School Police.
Every acting performance is solid. I like the students and also Saegusa being a comedic relief.
"I hope someday, the school will be a place where police isn't needed." —Shimada Ryuhei

Head Spinner Part 2
I was so frustrated by the ending of season 1. Like seriously? This season has been a wild emotional ride because of Shota and his longing for Nana :( He really loves her *sobbing at the corner*
The murder chain probably ended but here we could see the depth of the characters left and unanswered possibilities. Again it set my head spinning because the emergence of suspicions and confusions between the characters. Everyone is a possible suspect! No one should be trusted in this game! The creepy characters continued to twist and mess me up until the end. They were a group of unrealiable informants which made things more frustrating to me.
Overall : It was a well-written psychological thriller.

Head spinner
Although it didn't make any sense for me to randomly talk about the possibility of murdering someome in the middle of gathering, it is still an interesting premise. There are so many characters! You will get confused if you were not familiar with Japanese names. I felt like I'm studying a drama where I need to give 100% attention to each character. You probably need a paper and pen too to arrange the murder sequence.
I like the main couple so much although it was a disappointment in the last episode. Shota is a good man and Nana is brilliantly nice. Such a great, full of trust and loving couple.
I was so frustrated as the story progressed because I couldn't trust anyone. The writer knew how to twist actions, words and set my head spinning.
Every episode ended with a surprise and made me anticipate more. Definitely unputdownable!

This is so clean for a marriage drama.
Marry Me is a slice of life drama. If you expect over the top romance, this is not for you. It handles realities of; not only marriage but some aspects of life too. Pretty much universal yet heartwarming. The relationship built was indeed pure and a bit formal. But it works for the couple. It was the shape of the couple. I recalled the similar phrase used in Shanai Marriage Honey.I like every character. No hassle, no overbearing in laws and exes or overdone developments. It is like watching a polite community trying to help each other.
The chemistry was almost robotic due to the screenplay I think. The dynamic was different from Shanai Marriage. Marry Me centres more on the personal developments in accepting yourselves and others rather than romantic relationship between the mains.
I have no issue because it is still a light drama that is safe to be watched on the big screen with your parents.

Well...
This is another a messy but light c-drama. There are so many common irrelevant scenes lmao but I took this as a stress reliever. Irrelevant scenes can be ridiculous and at some points they make the drama looks terrible.I probably like the concept/idea of the ML gradually liking the FL more; I see it that way tho the ML was annoying at first. You can see the feeling is growing but the scenes made things awkward.
Tbh, I'm not a fan of the acting performances by the stiff leads in idol c-dramas, but their chemistry was quite tolerable on screen, considering they are newcomers and unnecessary scenes. I actually think they look cute together anyway *sigh*.
I can definitely binge watch this again. With a skip and fast forward button, of course.

The male lead is very very visually appealing. He has that type of face, you know like a jerk, snob, filled with arrogance. He did great imo. The female lead is annoyingly cute, though her character development is a bit off. It is just me being sick of helpless female lead but she doesn't look like one. Just some rebellious chicky, sometimes mindless girl we got here. Overall their chemistry saves everything.Till the end, only the mother didn't make any sense. Major wtf moments. The ending is a rush, but I really love the moments between the son and father.
I have had enough of cutesy, but this will be one of my greatest guilty pleasures. Definitely in my list to be rewatched with a skip and a speed button as I love the chemistry.

Got too much free time
Plot : It's your typical romance drama. Quite flat. Characters are not memorable enough. There are times when things can be unnecessary. But I can stand things like MLs suffer and struggling with their feeling toward the FLs.Acting : Quite good for newcomers? ML stiff expressions can be funny at times. FL is not that bad either? Just their chemistry is not that convincing.
Nevertheless, it calls for a binge when you have too much free time during pandemic. You can use skip button/fast forward for this one.

I think the guy did great but not so sure with the girl, it was fine I guess. I find it tolerable enough to be watched till the end. Side characters are enjoyable too.
I didn't fond of romance genre that much, yet sometimes we need this fluff contents. But the main guy is still wronged! (and visually appealing)
The main song! The main song! I love it!
This drama is a light one, so do expect the quality. It is made for fun.

The casts are splendid. I've always liked Nam Jihyun and Lee Joonhyuk. They deliver unnecessary chemistry on a thriller work which make me wanting their interactions more. The other casts did very well too.
It is great, well-packed and crafted suspense-thriller with time travel concept. With 12 episodes, I definitely rewatch it.
