Hahahahahaha,
my dearest, your double post made my day. I love you sworn enemy mode, and even if you tried to cover it up with the BFF mode, I haven't forgotten the rotten egg you threw at me. LMAO
Of course I DID start that drama with huge prejudices, like any critic worth of this name. I'm glad you quoted some of the über-stupid lines, so that I don't have to do it myself. Actually, instead of throwing tomatoes at you, can I throw them at the main heroine (if Maru gets hit by mistake, so be it). The woman is so irritating I'd rather jump into a nettle field and roll in it than spend 5 minutes of my very precious viewing time watching her stony face.
However, as much as it pains me, I have to say this: the drama created some of the most hilarious and heated discussions ever. Therefore, you can keep on with you eggs: it'll be a pleasure. ;)

Hello Addy,
please forgive me for replying more than 1 month later! As I say in my profile, I've been kept away from the site by external forces, LOL.
Unfortunately, long absences are not good when one is going through a drama slump: on the contrary, they tend to consolidate anti-obsessions. So, right now there are a number of things I wish to do, but watching an Asian drama is not one of them.
I truly don't know how to get my enthusiasm back: I fear I have lost it forever. Arggg...
And how are you? Eeverything's well, I hope. :D

My dearest Violet,
I have been kept away by a serie of unfortunate events - very Lemony Snicket style - which, alas!, did not translate into a lovely holiday, although I wish. We have been first flooded, then my connection went mad - again - and I asked for a change in provider which encountered problems and it's still not solved; then I got a last minute translation and in the middle of it all I got a horrible flu which almost cost me my assignment. I can only hope March is going to be a better month. LOL
The long absence did not help my drama slump either. I wish to do many things right now, but watching an Asian drama is not among them. I frankly don't know how to overcome the problem, unless Binnie himself knocks at my door and forces me. :P
I hope you have been well, my dear?

The only reason why I'm wandering around here is that I've missed you, the Pretties and the few friends I have got here.
Have you been well? :)

My dearest,
please forgive me for my long absence. First we had a flood which kept us busy for at least a week, trying to salvage what we could in our basement. Then I had connection problems which I tried to solve by changing my provider, and here began the odissey of one provider fighting against the other and me in the middle: problem still not solved. Then I was assigned a last minute translation and couldn't be distracted in any way, and in the middle of it all I had a horribly long and serious flu, which put my assignment at risk. I can only hope for a more relaxed March.
Unfortunately, long absences are not good for drama obsessions. My slump is worsening, and I am struggling to find an ounce of enthusiasm to watch a new drama. Usually when I get tired of, say, Korea, I jump to Japan or Taiwan, but now I am not eager to do anything of the sort.

What's a Skinny Rita? LOL From what I've read and seen in movies, the weirdest Italian food can be found in the States, things we Italian never heard of in our lives, like linguine alfredo or spaghetti bolognese.
Is Skinny Rita some kind of thin pizza? :D

Hahaha, my dearest, you prepare the rotten eggs, I get the tomatoes ready. And... let the fight begin! ;):D
Of course I can't in one million years blame you for being obsessed with the guy, innocent or not: he's gorgeous, and the only reason I finished that thing.
On my part, IM marked the beginning of my anti-obsession phase. No, I atone: it caused my slump. Which, as you can easily imagine, makes me all the more in hate with the drama.
So we can be happy sworn enemies, my friend. Aren't we pretty in a fight too? ;);)
Love

My dearest Twinnie, Im fine. Please don't worry, Venice isn't far but it has its own floods, nothing to do with ours, lol (and it's very romantic too, despite the problem it causes). The area I live in is indeed quite safe from dramatic climate phenomena - no hurricanes, no tsunamis, no typhoons. We get flooded occasionally though, but houses are built so that high water involves only basements and garages. It's a hussle anyway and a source of preoccupation for us, since we have many things stored in the basement and can't take up into the apartment. No risk for our safety anyway, only objects.
You're moving? Into a new house or another city/state? :)

I loved the whole of season 3 - its intensity and tragedy, the characterization of all was amazing. Everything except the last 10 minutes of the christmas special. I wish they had found another way... it somehow makes me less eager to wait for the 4th. As soon as you see the entire season, you'll know what I mean, and if you feel like it, tell me if you agree with me or think I'm overreacting.
LOL, I have never seen a poll result which was farther from my taste than this one. I couldn't agree less with the results.
And I refuse to blame myself - although I love the comment. ;);)

Thank you for your friend request and for your kind comment about my profile page. :D
For the record: I too neglect work to watch dramas. And what's even worse, my addiction seems to worsen when I have an urgent assignment to finish. LOL

My dearest,
I haven't been around much (just like you) and haven't watched anything asian since last october. :P
This week has been a horror because my basement and car box was flooded and we had a hard time trying to salvage photographs, books, pieces of furniture and a hundred other things we keep stored there. It's been messy, dirty, wet and exhausting. My poor tree didn't have much of a free time to contemplate the sky or talk to it, alas.
How have you been? How are the Sims? ;)

My dear friend,
it's a pleasure to read you again.:D Just as pleasurable is reading your profile and your attention to little details - I love those. :D
I imagine you've been busy lately and so have I, to the point I haven't watched anything asian in more than 2 months now. I will try to make up for it... :P
I'm glad you like my profile. I don't want my beloved Binnie to act in a saeguk because I don't like saeguks. I find them excessively repetitive, costumes are always the same, so is the setting, the sub plot ALWAYS involves some prince or king being threatened or dethroned and there's always at least one evil female who gets on my nerves.
LOL, my reply became a rant, forgive me. ;)
How have you been?

Forgive me - once again - for my very late reply. I'm a mess when it comes to organizing my time... :P
Anyway, as you rightly supposed I haven't read your stalker guide! I went and see if I could read it in the archive, but apparently it contains only the last... 12 editorials or little more. I will ask Skye about this archive, because in general I think a complete archive is necessary.
I read your 2012 best j-dramas article though, loved it and commented on it.
I have added a couple of your favourites on my ptw list. :D

My dearest,
you can call me mama, but just because it's you. By such a nick, I picture myself as an old and fat black woman standing on the porch of some wooden house in Louisiana, calling "Ashu, go comb that ruffled hair of yours at once!"
LOL
Don't ask me why you should have ruffled hair... let's call it licence to imagination. ;)
Ahhh...Binnie! ??? I didn't like the drama, but I did love him, so I can very well relate to your random vm of the day. Have fun with the watching my dear.
Mama approves. ;)

YES! The time is perfect for me to finally watch black & white. It's been sitting on my ptw list for a long time now, and as you rightly noticed I did stalk vic's works, lol. Your review re-kindled my interest and intent and if I hadn't been kept away from dramas by working duties, I would be discussing it with you now. ;)
As for the notifications delay, it's quite funny, for I entered MDL a couple of days ago to check those and your message wasn't there, I'm sure of it. Or perhaps it's just me thinking it was a couple of days ago while in fact it was in 2012, hahaha. That's possible too, as I'm sadly unaware of time most of my life. :P
Thanks a lot for your recommendations, they all sound interesting. Plus, I love "unusual". I'll let you know of my progresses. :D

Hello Addy, a very happy new year to you too! :D
I sent an urgent translation yesterday to my editor, after a horrible tour de force which left me with a massive headache, so I haven't had the chance to even open up a streaming video. :P So perhaps I should ask you to suggest something to me, as I am horribly behind with my drama watching. Anything Japanese, by any chance? ;)
