I actually started ep 1 more than a year ago, but then didn't really get into the story and found out about the ending and only ended up finishing it more than a year later. and I'm glad I did! it's a touching love story, even though since it's a shorter drama, some details weren't shared but I think it's okay

seryeong's brother actor acts in king2hearts, except I didn't really notice it when I watched that drama which I guess proves he's a good actor.

if you're not interested in history or more in political scheming and court dramas you may not like this. but it never bored me. I think if it's obvious that all the ministers are stupid than are the scheming is stupid

finally a historical drama which has mostly instrumental OST and I think no songs with english words! truly hard to come by nowadays

at first she's very naive and doesn't know about her father's evil deeds and stuff, but afterwards she does get a whole lot better

too bad.

I don't like lying, but her father told her not to tell him. but couldn't he tell though from her attire that she's not a maid? after he found out?

even that although good, doesn't feel like it has the same quality as this one. I've seen a few recent sageuk dramas and they all kind of feel the same

I think that's how a court works. I mean like, since prince suyang killed all of the good ministers and just left the ones who'll make him king it does make sense that the king will not have much power if none of the ministers are on his side
