This story like someone wrote in the comments, didn't know what story it wanted to tell and ended things..weird, maybe that's because the directing -sorry Cha Tae Hyun-. At first i didn't know this was suposed to be like a sitcom for the amount of guest actors the had each episode. the comedy part was fine but the romance part felt so wrong.
There is no character development, the characters have no depth, so when the drama wanted to be more dramatic they failed, and i never figured it out whom were suposed to be the important characters untl the end -there were only 2 important characters-.
And that leads me to other problem, the casting, Yoon Shi Yoon acting like Yoon Shi Yoon he was quite enjoyable until the drama focused on him, then he was annoying and his acting was exagerated ,Lee Se Young is beautiful but she cant act and seriously she is not comedy material the girl was awkward to watch, thats why i coudnt like those characters. The rest of the cast is good especially the olders, i mean chae Tae Hyun, Yoon Son Ha,Lee Duk Hwa made me finished this drama because of how good they are in their roles that made me love their characters.
The music , they wasted the opportuny to show something memorable like in Repply 1997
Is not part of my plans to rewatch this drama, not even for some actors.
Overall this is far to be one of the best dramas of the year, really unrealistic in many aspects ... i mean Lee Ji Hoon is too good to be real.

The word "romantic" I think it suits the drama, the story is about the romantic ideas of what it is to be a doctor vs the reality, all this sounded very good and would have been better if the story had been better written, the Drama is full of clichés and inconsistencies and doesn’t go deep enough in all these emergency cases in which there are important issues like life and death as well as the ethics of a doctor that might have been important if it would have been treated in a more realistic way, it only mentioned these issues superficially and worse still ends up giving moral lessons, "family is the most thing important even if they despise you" "If you are ambitious, you have a very pure motivation or a very perverse one "and so many more lessons taken from makjang dramas. The romance in this story wasn’t really necessary, and it was only interesting in the first episode, the drama about Professor Kim’s past and the rivalry for power with Do Yoon Wan it was interesting at times but it was exactly the same as in other korean medical dramas. The best part was the medical part, really well done but it was a bit unrealistic since at one moment they had 2 patients and little staff and 5 episodes later they had 3 more doctors and 20 patients with very specific diagnoses (I mean…. How?)
I saw that everyone liked the performance of Han Seok Kyu as Professor Kim, but I was more surprised by Yoo Yeon Seok as Dr.Kang the only character I found to be more realistic who faces his ambition, his romantic ideas every now and then And his ethics during almost all the drama, the only character with a real development. Jin Kyung as the nurse Oh, Seo Eun Soo as the resident as well as Han Seok Kyu I thought their performances were good, the other supporting actors I think they also did a good role, my only problem was Seo Hyun Jin with her exaggerated acting in almost all episodes, her character had nothing interesting except her past but she could have done much better, the drama could have been better with another actress or without this character, I don’t know how she went from Another Miss Oh to this Lousy performance.
Kim Hye Soo was definitely the greatest actress of this drama, she only appears in the last episode, I don’t know how the producers didn’t hired her for the entire drama, she was the best thing that this drama had and o she only was in a few scenes, if you haven’t seen the special episode I recommend you to see it only for her.
Honestly, I don’t remember the music. I would rewatch this drama although maybe not all episodes, and just because I enjoyed almost all the medical stories.

The pacing in this drama is really good, some twists are good, and the characters are just the way they are, you can hate them or love them. (personally i just hated almost all, like detectives, especially Soo Ji).
The story is nothing new, is about revenge and justice, is full of cliches, full of plot holes, at the begining the main theme is revenge and justice, in the midle is corruption and politics, and at the end is about...*rolling eyes*...secondary characters their stupid desitions and the impact in the whole story, so don't expect nothing for the end, the writers/ director/producers complicated a story that could have had a much better conclusion.
The acting is not bad, but the cast could have been done better and i´m talking about Lee Shi Young, i feel like she wasn´t the right for the role the drama needed, a more complete actress capable of make her character simpathize with the viewers like Hwang Jung Eum in Secret or Lee Boo Young in I can hear your voice. The other actors i think they fit their roles Kim Young Kwang has an inusual character, but i really enjoyed Key, Kim Seul Gi and Shin Dong Wook, Kim Tae Hoon was a litlle bit disapoiment in this.
The music is diferent even if there are only two songs, i enjoyed them.
Someday maybe i will rewatch some episodes in the middle only because they were so enterteining.

Finally a well done BL comedy
For me this is the best BL drama of 2021 and i´ve watched a lot or at least the most popular ones (included Lovely Writer and ATOTS) , is a solid comedy bl, the script was okay, the acting is good so that means the directing is good too, there is no movie or series with a good acting and bad directing, both are conected, unless the cast included Meryl Streep. Is a feel good comedy since the begining til the end, that consistence is rare to see in dramas these days even in korean ones.
The main characters have intersting personalites and they´re definitely not two dimensional, you can see their good and bad or flawed side, so when people said "GMMTV" ruined some character just sounds ridiculous to me because every character made mistakes and show humanity during the whole show, Pi being insecure, Mork being too insistent, Duean being inmature, Meen being naive. But it was cool to see that, there.
I feel taht this Show had a lot of references of popular culture, and even tought i couldn´t catch all, were used in a fun and interesting way.
About the editing for me it was okay, i mean, ther wasn´t unnecesary scenes, the pace wasn´t boring like in other dramas, and IDK so much in this field so for me the cut was fine.
The music is really good, fun and fresh here.
And finally i definetly could watch this any time, in a sad day ofor after being so busy just to feel good and change the mood.

So based on that premise the movie is suposed to have a powerful story, and there is when the movie fails, the story have wonderful moments, but are only a few moments, so overall it feels too long and too slow and not really memorable.
The visual effects, the photography and the cast are really good, the characters are enjoyable i liked Sato Takeru, i think he is a great actor.
So if you really wanna cry with some story based on the same theme, life and death, i would recomend you to watch Boku No Ita Jikan (is a drama not a movie), but if actually you cry for everything, then maybe this movie is for you.
