The only thing I liked about it is the very visually pleasing characters. But the ending is a capital WTF! I got triggered by the ending. My partner was cursing her the entire series. And mind you, he never ever cuss, but this one was amazingly bad he needed to let it out. 🤦‍♀️

I've been looking for the novel but can't find any version translated in English, not even an synopsis. Can anyone please give us an idea on what the story will be about? Is it heavy drama?

Is anyone else watching The Tale of Nine-Tailed 1938 right after finishing TTEOM and dream of a remake of this drama with Lee Dong Wook as TTJ? A lot of Cdramas have been adapted to KDrama in the past. My partner and I started watching TTONT1938. He never watched TTEOTM and only knew it from my stories. But man, out of the blue, he blurted, "You know what, Lee Dong Wook fit the ML in that CDrama you just watched." Oh boy, I can't unsee it!!!

Has anyone seen the video in the Youku app under "Special Edition" section titled "Love is mutual fulfillment"? It said "reunion". I highly doubt it's the closure we've been hoping for but one can dream.

I woke up yesterday (Sunday) anticipating the hour when they release new episodes. Then I remember it's already finished. I developed the habit of waiting for this drama daily. 🤣🤣🤣

Just started watching this with my partner and we both think this can hold on its own without romance. But boy, the chemistry between Lee Yeon and Hong Joo is amazing—way way better than Lee Dong Wok's partner in the first season.

Same here. I open this MDL page more frequent daily than I do my other social media accounts. And I have been starting my days reading everyone's comments. I honestly wouldn't last until the final episode without everyone's support in the discussion. I will definitely stay here for a few more weeks until the posts die down. But everyone has been amazing!

Before the final episode later, I just wanna say that the thing I will miss the most about this drama is the companionship of everyone here in the discussion session. He was the leader of the demon clan (I believe). That's why he said he joined the DG, bec he wanted to be stronger so he can be worthy of Chung Huang.

For those who've watched the version on Netflix, is there any difference from the Youku app? Like any scenes they polished or added for the Netflix version? I'm hoping since the one released in Youku was kinda rushed, they'll make the Netflix version better.

Chung Huang was such a poor soul for falling in love with the wrong person. He does not deserve her and LSS at all! I wanted to flat line him while watching ep 36.
