Hahaha no problem

One thing personally for me right now, is at times fl does come off as a little hypocritical. She asks ml in ep 23 not to go do the mission Zhang bin asked, and moves out when he does. But at the same time ml has repeatedly asked her to stop spying and putting herself in danger, and she doesn't stop either. Like she got mad at ml in ep 21 when he tried to stop her from spying. I feel like you can't be asking ml to stop working for Zhang bin, if you are also putting yourself in danger and won't stop. On the flip side, if you stopped what you were doing, ml would also stop. Also he didn't force her to return, she did willingly.

Honestly, the romantic in me just wished they would both just ditch everything, leave now and go somewhere no one knows them and never come back.

The biggest thing though is communication, but it's hard for ml to open up, especially with everything he's been through, thus the therapy. I feel like fl needs to understand that, for sure its hard for her also, but since she at least partially knows how much ml is struggling mentally, things like that can't be rushed. It takes time for someone to recover from such trauma and be willing to open up. The more you push someone like that, the more hesitant they are to open up. I understand what fl is trying to do, to make progress and to get ml to admit his true feelings, but I think she's pushing him too much.

And the mind games with 2ml and the flirting just need to stop. I'm not trying to be too harsh on fl right now, I understand where she's coming from, but I think maybe I'm just a bit more sympathetic towards ml right now. I feel like he needs her understanding and presence, rather than her forcing answers and responses from him. Like when she said, I hope you just sleep well tonight, that was perfect. She didn't ask him anything, or push him for any answers, just comforted him, that was such a beautiful scene. Sometimes, just being there is enough.

And to his credit, it's clear he has started to open up, in ep 23, when he said to her, where ever you go, I'll go, I feel like is a big step, a clear indication ml was thinking about their future. I didn't like how after that, the drama drove another wedge between them. Also, it's ml's nature to take on all burdens by himself, thats how he's lived his whole life, since he was a child. He would carry the burdens of his family by himself, so I feel like it's very difficult to try and change someone's nature, that takes time.

Again, gonna make it clear, I'm enjoying this drama for sure, for me eps 22 and 23, while I disliked, do not ruin the whole drama for me, I'm still enjoying this drama and will for sure continue to watch, but this is just one take I have right now.

Looking at the air schedule the emoji for ep 25 is a house, so my hope is ep 25 is a proper reconciliation between ml and fl, with them living together again, and with no more secrets, like a proper couple. I'm looking forward to ep 25. Also I saw some bts scenes from filming where ml and fl were shopping together for groceries acting like a proper cute couple, I really want those scenes.

One thing I don't quite understand I won't lie, genuinely unsure if I missed something, at the end of ep 20/start of 21, when ml catches fl spying and tries to take her away, doesn't she say, did you come here as my boyfriend or as an employee at the company, and then later ml says of course I cam as your boyfriend and then fl says if you came as my boyfriend that makes it worse...

Like does this not establish ml and fl are dating, that he's her boyfriend, but yet at the beach she asks him/says to him a few times, what do you consider yourself to me/who are you to me or like when trying to give her a car she say something like with what label are you giving this to me.

Like did we not establish he was her boyfriend, but next ep its like it never happened and she's asking like who are you to me etc.

Maybe I missed something this genuinely confused me, like if he's said it once why can't he say it again when she asks, or vice versa since he's said it already and she herself said are you here as my boyfriend, why does she keep asking.

I've been a big fan of this drama so far, literally waited for the exact minute the eps dropped, but I have to say I am disappointed massively in ep 22 and 23. In 22 I expected ml and fl to have a lot of beach scenes, spending quality time together, having a nice get away from their difficult lives. But instead, for the majority, it was fl and 2ml making ml jealous.

Let me just say, in ep 22 and 23, there were only two highlights for me. One is when ml and fl talked in ep 22 on the beach and kissed. That scene of them together on the beach, talking was wonderful. And then at the start of ep 23, when their place gets flooded, seeing them just let loose and have fun, and again their heartfelt conversation as they hugged on the coach was perfect. Why oh why can't we get more of that. Meaningful conversation between ml and fl, that leads to progressing their relationship.

Instead, we get way too much 2ml, constantly being used by fl to make ml jealous. At first it was cute, but now it's over the top, I have always disliked 2ml or 2fl's that get too close to one of the leads with no lines drawn, and when their only purpose is seemingly to make the other jealous. I was very glad when ml drew a very strong line with tu li, so why can't fl do the same. She continually gets close to 2ml, making ml jealous, was cute at first, now just seems immature and overly used. I don't mind a complex or interesting 2ml or 2fl, but here 2ml's only purpose in the story is to make ml jealous, thats fine when it happens a bit, but here it's gotten annoying and overly used. Also, fl just seems immature now, flirting with 2ml, who is her ex, playing mind games with ml, just seems childish I think. Not in her character.

And someone mentioned this below, but again ml and fl seem to make progress in their relationship through meaningful conversation which is wonderful, but then a work thing gets in-between them and separates them again. The conversations between ml and fl in 22 and 23 seems to bring ml and fl closer, especially the one in ep 23, but then a work thing ml has to do makes fl angry and she moves out. It feels so out of character for her to move out and leave ml alone, especially when she knows he's struggling mentally and promised to stay by his side no matter what. Angst that fits the story is good, but it feels like this angst was so out of character for the fl, that it was simply used to create angst/separation even when it doesn't fit the characters or the story.

Don't get me wrong, I will keep watching, I enjoy this drama and two eps does not ruin it for me personally, but I really hope 2ml does not stay around for too much longer and that fl draws a hard line with him soon just like ml did with tu li. Also that beach fire scene where all fl's co-workers were shipping fl and 2ml while ml sat there, and fl said nothing, was very painful to watch, I really felt sorry for ml. She could have said like thats all in the past or history is history, something like that but nothing. Sorry for the mini rant, really do enjoy the show, but the use of 2ml especially is annoying me a lot in ep 22 and 23.

Oh and we go to one ep tomorrow, god help us.

Happy ending, but from leaks what happens is ml fakes his death to poison, fl doesn't know its fake I don't think, fl becomes empress carrying their baby, few years later ml returns all cured and we get a happy ending

100 percent agree, people have to remember mdl isn't a fan page where people only agree with each other and give constant praise. Discussion is what this page is for, but also not everyone will agree like you said, dramas are very subjective. So discussion is good, but people shouldn't force their opinions down others throat like its the only right opinion and everyone else is wrong. Some times if no side is budging just agree to disagree like you mentioned. Well written couldn't agree more with you.

have to admit I disliked how cold she was with ml. No like I have to reconsider, just a complete shut down, to me I disliked that, especially after she knew and acknowledged how much ml had done for her.

And also I think her secret has a lot of baring on him, I feel like people are underestimating her secret. Right now in the drama, I consider the crazy prince to be the most dangerous villain character, and he's made it clear he will not allow anyone else to marry fl. So honestly, anyone attached to fl, is in danger from him, including ml or even her family or anyone that supports her marrying anyone else beside himself.

I mean, right now crazy prince won't hurt fl because he thinks he loves her and all that stuff, but he will for sure hurt ml or any guy that gets too close. In fact with the amount of guys that like fl, ml puts himself in the cross hairs of a few powerful princes and maybe more to come, by being with fl. Honestly, I think as of now, and the way things are heading, ml makes more enemies being with fl, then vice versa. Lets also not forget about fl's sister from her past life, the one that likes crazy prince, right now she's targeting fl out of jealousy, but if she ever found out the truth about fl, she would probably go crazy trying to bring fl down.

Anyway, I'm also just saying, I think after all ml has done for fl, saving her life, he had earned a but more good faith, not saying she had to reciprocate his feelings of course, but as long take time to think things over before calling things off.

This is a spoiler, I read somewhere from leaks right now fl obviously has feels for ml, but also she hates how he left her, so she's kind of playing mind games to get back at him. But soon, we got hints this episode, she finds out ml suffered from depression and mental illness during their time apart, and that leads her to stop these mind games and be honest with her feeling with him and thats when the romance starts again proper I believe. I believe it happens after that scene we see in the trailer if you've watched it, where ml is beating up a bunch of guys protecting fl, thats when fl realizes how much ml has suffered, so she stops with the mind games and stuff like that

I get that for sure, I saw some other comments when it happened who also thought the same, I think it draws more on the novel character. In the novel both ml and fl were kind of red flags, they changed that for the drama but here I think they tried to show a bit of that. I feel like we'll get more explanation when we return to the present/future time and see what she says.

Nice, you'll enjoy those eps I think and yeh 11 for sure is probably where it gets bad I just hope it doesn't end with the break up on like a cliffhanger, I hope the break up is somewhere in the middle and we get back too the present before it ends.

Theres not much angst in ep 10 yet if thats what you're worried about, it's a pretty sweet episode with the first kiss and stuff like that. Doesn't end badly either.

I don't think so because ml and fl live without spending too much money and fl doesn't seem like a person that would have/buy a lot of different expensive looking perfume and makeup and women's stuff like that, also a lot of the clothing was like bikini's and adult women clothing, not the type of stuff fl would wear before the time skip. I could be wrong of course, I'm guessing we'll find out today in ep 11 when it goes back to the future timeline, but yeh none of that stuff seemed like stuff fl would own especially when she was younger. A bunch of perfume, makeup and stuff like that, things fl wouldn't have had when she was younger before she left.

Also as soon as ml returned home, he said tu li I told you not to go into the kitchen, which means tu li probably stays with him or can come into his house easily when he's not home. But I could be wrong, we'll see for sure in ep 11 I'm guessing. I'll be honest I thought it was a nice move by fl, she's showing everybody she came back to get ml, she's marking her territory, she doesn't care whose stuff they are.
