"You know things have gone out of hand when you start hoping for more grandma piggyback rides, sexy times with both female and second male lead, looking forward to watching him being a self-appointed godfather to the kiddos, a helping hand for the others" Yeah, ok, fair! You got me there! I love watching Du Shik interact with everyone. I just think the main leads argue too much. They need to get along a bit more!
I'm so tired of bantering, arguing couples who show their interest through mean quips and constant competition! These types of relationships are so exhausting and counterproductive in real life and they totally mentally and emotionally drain you. That's why I can't enjoy them on screen either. They give me headaches. I just want a quiet love between people who don't feel like they have to win against their partner but lift each other up through support, mutual respect, and genuine affection so they can succeed as a team. Really like your list. I'll add them to my to-watch list.
Oh, how I wish romantic shows would just retire the second male lead trope. He's tired, I'm tired, the dramas are tired. No one needs these pesky third wheels.
It is cute. But boy, it is all k-drama tropes married to all Hallmark tropes. Big city clueless meets heart of…
Yeah, I have some very contradictory feelings towards the show. On one hand, it has elements I love. On the other it's super heavy on cliches that are grinding on my nerves. Like why do the main characters argue so much?! It's stressing me out, tbh. I get very anxious when couples argue all the time. It's not cute at all.
Try Goodbye My Princess, if you like the actress. In my opinion GMP is one of the best Chinese dramas out there.
First of all, I suggest watching the director' cut because the experience is better. Secondly, GMP is a mature story. It's not fluffy and the characters are intentionally flawed. If you go in expecting polite romance, you will be disappointed. In my opinion, chengyin is one of the most interesting characters I have watched. Flaws and all. The romance is an excuse to tell the story. I don’t know what to say, just that gmp is not a show that follows normal formulas for historical romance. None of the male partners are ideal man you can swoon over. That's just not the point of the story. But yes, FL is amazing. She's very good.
Oh, I saw it on Netflix early this week and already marked it for this weekend :)I love Wendy, and I hope this…
Lol, trust me, when you have to do it, it's a little less fun! Yeah, it's a very well made movie, even sans hints. It's just totally worth a watch, or two.

Lol! It's my job to analyze fictional works so I'm pretty confident in my subtext-reading skills! Sorry! I just finished watching it and got really hyped about it.
I think the point was that they stayed friends and were still in contact with each other? I doubt anyone could recognize someone in that huge crowd! I interpreted the fact that she attended the concert as showing that they stayed friends.

Though not that subtle? I felt like it was heavily implied.
