At the end, FL forgave the ML which is why she sent him the baby picture to let him know that she never aborted their baby. The beaded bracelet on the other hand meant one thing or the other, either she's waiting for him to get out of jail to be with him since it seemed like she had healed or she's never getting back with him. So, to me the ending is open ending. FL did fall in love with ML too which is why she felt pain in ep 63 when he was protecting her, but her revenge and her love for her adopted father was too great to let go. IDK how long ML's going to be in prison, but I know for sure that he'd probably want to be in his daughter's life even if he's behind the scene and possibly will only love the FL.
Omgash, my opinion is very similarly in line with yours! I wished the show had given us 10 or even 20 eps to develop their relationship at the beginning, which I would have rated this drama even higher if they did. Like you, I'm also shocked that her revenge never faltered nor did she go soft at the end like the usual norm. She brough her A game and the revelation to ML was harsh but deserving which is why I gave it the rating it should deserve LOL.
I love this one! Came for the FL and fell for YGY. My first time watching Yao Guan Yu and whew I'm a goner. He is so godly hawt in here! His height, his deep voice, his smile, and his face like damn. ☠️☠️☠️
Didn't realize that Youku has better quality and subs, but they did cut out 3 scenes especially the spicy bathroom scene.
Can't believe my two favorite vertical actors are playing in a drama together. I need more of them together honestly. The focus was too much on other people. If there is a season two then hopefully we get more romance scenes!
Although there were some cliche scenes that had me LOL, this was a good drama. I liked it! The best thing about this drama was the ML. He's such a smart and loving character. FL frustrated me at some point and was kinda annoying, but she eventually grew a backbone. This drama is definitely worth to check it out for the ML and the romance.
Love it! Although I really enjoyed Part One for its storyline and Li Ke Yi’s poised yet restrained dynamic with the male lead as she navigated a new century, I loved Part Two for the deeper look into their relationship—plus all the steamy kisses and flirty scenes. 💕
Watching them with other people and coming back to rewatch this surprises me how natural their scenes were together like I'm blushing along side them too.

I just wish that the drama could have given us another 10 to 20 eps at the beginning to show how the leads met and the progress of that relationship before jumping on the gun in ep 2. BTW, LSD is such a great actor, that ending scene when he was looking at the picture.

This was so good! Just wish we could have gotten a second season because this drama definitely deserves one. I want more! I felt like it just started getting really good and then bam we're done. I love it when vertical dramas just mainly focuses on the leads because they only got so little minutes to work with which this one did; not saying storyline is not needed but if the plot is really good then I don't mind it taking over the romance scene. I watched all six vertical dramas of MQY and LSD together and can say that this one was definitely my favorite. Lu Shan Dong looks extra good in here (2nd to his other one that he played with MQY) might be because of his character and the hair slick. Also, surprisingly they have a real kiss scene together.
